Yesterday, Samsung unveiled the latest Samsung Galaxy S20 FE through an online presentation. Previously, there were three smartphones under the S20 series: Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 Plus, and Galaxy S20 Ultra. Here, FE stands for fan edition. We can expect more of the lower-priced flagship phones under the Fan Edition from the company. Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is as same as S20 but with some of the expensive parts replaced by cheaper one and key features included.Â

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE comes with 6.5 inches Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with the smallest hole in the Galaxy series. It supports a resolution of 2400 x 1080p pixels with a display refresh rate of 120Hz. It has gorilla glass 3 protection with an IP68 rating for dust/water resistance. It comes with an under-display fingerprint reader and always on display.Â
The 4G version of the smartphone is powered by Exynos 990 processor and the 5G version is powered by Snapdragon 865 processor. It comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage that can be expanded extra up to 1TB via a microSD card slot. One UI 2.5 based android 10 OS comes pre-installed in the device.Â
The front camera comes with a 32MP sensor with an aperture of f/2.2. The rear side cameras are triple cameras of 12MP f/1.89 Dual pixel cam with OIS, 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide, and 8MP f/2.4 telephoto. This camera is able of 3x optical zoom and up to 30x space zoom.Â
The smartphone is backed with a 4500mAh huge battery with support of 25W fast charging, 15W wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging. Unsurprisingly, Samsung is bundling a 15W charger in the box.Â
Price and Availability:
The starting price for the Galaxy S20 FE is $699 (~NPR 82,450) for the 5G variant in the US and £600 (~NPR 90,180) for the 4G variant in the UK. It is available in six different colors: Cloud Mint, Cloud Navy, Cloud Lavender, Cloud Red, Cloud White, and Cloud Orange. But remember, some of the colors are only available online.Â
