Exynos 2100 SoC
Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is powered by the 5nm flagship Exynos 2100 from Samsung itself. The Exynos 2100 is a significant upgrade from the last year’s Exynos 990, with almost 28% better benchmark scores than last year’s SoC. Samsung also has significantly improved their game with the Exynos 2100, which performs better on paper than Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 888. On performance, Exynos 2100 still is better on the CPU performance but loses with the Snapdragon 888 on the GPU.
The Exynos 2100 SoC has an octa-core processor with one Cortex-X1 core clocked at 2.9 GHz, three Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.80 GHz, and four Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.2 GHz. And the graphics are handled by Mali-G78 MP14 GPU.
Dynamic AMOLED 2X Display with 120Hz refresh rate
Moving on to the display, Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra comes with a Dynamic AMOLED 2X Display. The display comes with an adaptive display ranging from 10Hz to 120Hz, depending on the viewing content. And the best part about this year’s display is that you get to experience the 120Hz smoothness even at QHD+ resolution. This QHD+ display supports HDR10+ and gives a peak brightness of 1500 nits. Not only do you get such features in this packed display, but you also have to stay away from the worries due to the Gorilla Glass Victus protection.

108MP Quad Camera Setup
Next up on the list is the cameras on the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, Quad camera setup on the rear with a great front camera. The primary camera is of a 108MP f/1.8 wide sensor with dual-AF and OIS. Then we have a new addition on the setup with a 10MP f/4.9 periscope telephoto lens with OIS and a whopping 10x optical zoom. The next two sensors are the 10MP f/2.4 telephoto lens with OIS and 3x optical zoom and a 12MP f/2.2 ultrawide lens with super steady video. The back camera can shoot videos up to 8k at 24 fps, 4k at 30/60 fps, 1080p at 30/60/240fps, and 720p at 960fps with stereo sound recording and gyro-EIS.
Moving on to the selfie camera, you get a 40MP f/2.2 wide lens with a Dual video call feature and Auto-HDR. The front camera can shoot videos up to 4k at 30/60 fps and 1080p at 30fps.

Like last year’s Galaxy S20 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra comes with a 5000 mAh battery but expect a better battery life with this year’s phone because of the more power-efficient chipset. The phone’s battery lasts a full day easily, and with less-intense usage, you could even get two-day battery life. To fill up all the battery juice, you get fast charging support of up to 25W and wireless charging of 15W.
Design
This year’s design with a camera module filling out the phone’s corner looks better and aesthetically pleasing. Samsung has gone with better color options, too, with a matte finish, especially the phantom black. Samsung has built the phone in an aluminum frame with glass on both sides protected by Gorilla glass victus. The Galaxy S21 Ultra comes with an IP68 rating of dust and water-resistant up to 1.5m for 30 mins.
