Redmi claims the Redmi 9A to be the best smartphone currently available under NPR.13,000. Compared with other devices within the same price range, Redmi 9A somehow stands out from devices like Samsung Galaxy A03 Core and Realme Narzo 50i. Despite coming with a price tag of Rs 13000 as same as Realme Narzo, Redmi 9A is still featuring a better processor. Moreover, looking at the specs of Redmi 9A looks like a no-brainer for its segment. Here, we will be having a detailed comparison between Redmi 9A vs Samsung Galaxy A03 Core vs Realme Narzo 50i.

Design and display:
Design-wise Redmi 9A might not Stand out from the rest as I personally found the design of Realme Narzo 50i better. However, with more color options, Redmi 9A has more options for its users to choose from. On the resolution side, all devices are featured with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. Likewise, the Redmi 9A has clearly taken the lead on the protection side as it is protected with Gorilla Glass 3 whereas, Galaxy A03 Core and Realme Narzo 50i are built with glass at the front and plastic at the back with no protection specified.
Moving on to display, there is not much difference comparing the three devices. However, the Redmi 9A has a 6.53 inches IPS LCD screen with a peak brightness of 400nits. On the other hand, Realme Narzo 50i and Samsung Galaxy A03 Core feature 6.5 inches IPS LCD and 6.5 inches PLS TFT display respectively.
The Samsung Galaxy A03 Core is the heaviest among the three devices even though they all have the same battery of 5000mAh. Redmi 9A and Realme Narzo 50i weigh almost the same as it comes with weights of 196g and 195g respectively.
Performance:
Performance-wise, Redmi 9A has a clear lead compared to Realme Narzo 50i and Samsung Galaxy A03 Core. The Redmi 9A is featured with MediaTek Helio G25 processor that is built under 12nm architecture. Whereas, the other two devices are featured with Unisoc SC9863A processor that is built under 28nm architecture. Here, the chipset fabrication size itself has a huge difference while Redmi 9A is having a 12nm chipset that is more power-efficient than the 28nm chipset on the Narzo 50i and Galaxy A03 Core.
So, with the Redmi 9A, its processor clearly takes the title of best performance within these three devices. Likewise, the graphics of Redmi 9A is handled by PowerVR GE8320 whereas IMG8322 handles the graphics of two other devices.
On the software part, the Redmi 9A is kind of disappointing as it features Android 10 with MIUI 12.5 skin on top. On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy A03 Core and Narzo 50i are featured with better software of Android 11 (Go edition) and Android 11, with Realme Go U respectively.
All three devices are available with a storage variant of 2/23GB RAM.
Camera:
Comparing the cameras of these three devices, all of them are featured with a single camera setup. However, Redmi 9A is featured with a better camera among the three. There is a 13 MP, f/2.2 aperture single main camera whereas the other two have a main camera of 8 MP, f/2.0 aperture. Here, as we can clearly see, Redmi 9A has a camera with better resolution, compared to Realme Narzo 50i and Samsung Galaxy A03 Core. The 13MP lens on Redmi 9A can record videos up to 1080p@30/60fps whereas, the 8MP lens on two other devices can record videos up to 1080p@30fps.
Talking about the front camera, all three devices feature a 5 MP, f/2.2 aperture single selfie camera where the lens on Redmi 9A and Narzo 50i can record videos up to 1080p@30fps.
Overall, on the Redmi 9A camera, you get features like AI portrait mode, Face recognition that is missing on the other two devices.

Here, all three devices are featured with a 5000 mAh battery with 10W charging support. Unfortunately, fingerprint scanners are missing on all three devices but that is not a problem looking at the price tag. You get more color options on the Redmi 9A where there are a total of three colors: Carbon Gray (Midnight Black), Sky Blue (Sea Blue), Ocean Green (Nature Green) while on the Narzo 50i, there are Carbon Black and Mint Green. Lastly, the Samsung Galaxy A03 Core is available in Black and Blue color options.
