Samsung is really doing a bang with their new line of devices from the A and M series. We already talked about the Galaxy A73, Galaxy A53, Galaxy A33, Galaxy A23, Galaxy M33, and also the Galaxy M23. Last year, Samsung’s Galaxy M52 was a really good balanced phone with Snapdragon 778 SoC, today we will be talking about its successor, the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G along with the expected price of the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G in Nepal.
Samsung Galaxy M53 5G Overview:
Design and Display
Starting with the design, Samsung Galaxy M53 5G flaunts a different design from its predecessor. However, it is not an entirely new design as it has a similar design to the Galaxy M33 5G. Despite having a big 5000mAh battery, it is just 7.8mm thick and weighs 176g. Moreover, it comes in three color options: Blue, Green, and Brown.
Upfront, you get a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus display with a hole punch design. It can hit up to 120Hz of refresh rate while its resolution is set to Full HD+. Compared to the Galaxy M52 5G, there is almost no upgrade in the display department.
Performance and Memory
Samsung Galaxy M53 5G is powered by Dimenity 900 5G chipset. It is an octa-core SoC with Arm Cortex-A78 @ Up to 2.4GHz and Arm Cortex-A55 @ Up to 2GHz. Similarly, it features a Mali-G68 MC4 GPU for handling graphics.
The phone is announced with 6/8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. By using the microSD card, you can expand the storage up to 1 TeraByte (TB). Furthermore, you get the latest Android 12 out of the box with Samsung’s own One UI 4.1 on top.
Camera
Talking about the camera, Samsung Galaxy M53 5G is featured a quad-camera setup at the back. The setup features a 108MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and its lacks OIS. Likewise, there is an 8MP ultrawide lens and a pair of 2MP macro and depth lenses. Similarly, it has a 32MP selfie shooter inside the hole punch.
Battery and Other Specs
As I mentioned earlier, the handset packs a 5000mAh battery. It supports up to 25W fast charging via a Type-C port. Since the cheaper Galaxy M33 5G shipped without a charger inside the box, this one may also share the same story.
Although the Galaxy A53 and A73 come with a stereo speaker setup, Galaxy M53 5G only has a single speaker at the bottom. Moving to the connectivity, it supports 5G, 4G LTE, (dual-band) Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.2, and GPS.
