Design and Display
Upfront the Honor X8 provides a 6.67-inch of FHD+ display with a 90Hz of refresh rate. The display used on the Honor X8 has a resolution of 1080 x 2388 pixels, while the protection is not specified. Talking about the design we get full plastic built with plastic frames.
At the back, we get a quad-camera setup inside the square camera module. This device has a matt-like finish with the honor logo on the center at the bottom. The X8 supports dual sim cards with no options for memory expansion also it is thin and lightweight at 7.5mm thin and weighs around 177gm.
Camera
The device supports a quad-camera setup at the back with a 64 MP, f/1.8 Primary camera along with a 5MP f/2.2 ultra-wide and a 2MP depth and macro shooter also at the front inside the punch hole we have a 16 MP, f/2.5 selfie shooter. The Honor X8 can record 1080P videos at 30fps from both rear and front camera setup.
Performance & Software
Talking about the performance of the Honor X8 we get Snapdragon 680 SoC with Adreno 610 GPU. This is an octa-core CPU built under a 6nm fabrication process and brings 4×2.4 GHz Kryo 265 Gold & 4×1.9 GHz Kryo 265 Silver CPU cores along with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It also supports virtual RAM extension up to 2GB.
On the software side of things, Honor X8 will be rocking Android 11, and Magic UI 4.2 and according to the sources you won’t be getting Google Play Services support on the Honor X8.
Battery and Other features
Honor X8 features a decently sized 4000mAh battery with support for 22.5W fast charging. Along with that, we have support for Dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0. Talking about the sensors the X8 supports Fingerprint (side-mounted), accelerometer, compass, and Virtual proximity sensing technology.
