Yesterday, Samsung Nepal held a press meet to announce the arrival of a new Galaxy-A series device in Nepal. The company announced the Galaxy A33, Galaxy A53, and Galaxy A73. Mr. Pranaya Ratna Sthapit, Director at Samsung Nepal and content creator Miss. Akriti Rajbhandari unveiled those products.Â
Samsung Galaxy A33 5G, A53 5G, and A73 5G Short Overview:
All of these devices come with IP67 certification which some of the flagship phones from other companies are missing. Likewise, the primary camera of all three devices has OIS which helps in low light photography and also produces stabilized videos. All these devices run on the latest Android 12 with the company’s own One UI 4.1 skin on top. Also, the company has promised 4 years of major Android updates and 5 years of security patch updates in all these handsets. Moreover, all three devices have a 5000mAh battery and support 25W fast charging.
Samsung Galaxy A33 5G
The Galaxy A33 5G has a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 and has a waterdrop notch for a 13MP selfie camera. At the back, you get a 48MP main camera with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a pair of 5MP macro and depth cameras. Similarly, powering the Galaxy A33 5G is Exynos 1280 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Samsung Galaxy A33 5G is priced at NPR 46,999 in Nepal for the 8/128GB model.Â
Samsung Galaxy A53 5G
The Galaxy A53 5G has a slightly larger 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with the same FHD resolution. But, it has a better 120Hz refresh rate and punch-hole design that houses a 32MP selfie camera. Likewise, it has a 64MP main camera (OIS), a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 5MP depth and macro cams. It is also powered by the same Exynos 1280 chipset. Samsung Galaxy A53 5G is available in Nepal in 8/128GB memory configuration which retails at NPR 55,999.Â
Samsung Galaxy A73 5G
The Galaxy A73 5G comes with a larger 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Plus display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and features a 32MP selfie camera inside the punch hole. It is the device in the first to feature a 108MP (OIS) camera in the A-series. The other three lenses are 12MP ultrawide lenses and two 5MP macro and depth cameras. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset based on 6nm architecture. In Nepal, it is available with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage which costs NPR 72,999.Â

Samsung has been doing good with its A-series in Nepal in recent times. However, the company has hiked the price by a huge margin this year because of 5G inclusion.
