Apple‘s latest offering, the iPhone 15 Pro Max, is making waves in the tech world, and it’s not just because of its sleek design or stunning camera capabilities. The real star of the show is the A17 Pro chipset tucked inside. The Chipset has left tech enthusiasts in awe after its AnTuTu benchmark performance was revealed.

A17 Pro Dominates AnTuTu:

When it comes to benchmark scores, the A17 Pro inside the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max proves to be a true powerhouse. The tests clearly show that the new A17 Pro Dominates AnTuTu. The AnTuTu benchmark test yielded a staggering combined score of 1,641,883 points, reaffirming Apple’s position as a leader in the industry.

A17 Pro Dominates AnTuTu

Comparing this score to its predecessor, the A16 Bionic, which managed 1,474,011 points, it’s evident that Apple has made significant strides in performance. Even the formidable Apple M1 chip, found in Apple laptops and iPads, falls just shy of the A17 Pro with 1,754,456 points. The iPhone 15 Pro Max’s score also surpasses the Android-leading Nubia Red Magic 8 Pro+ by a notable margin, which “only” scores 1,632,859 points.

A17 Pro CPU Performance Breakdown:

The CPU core count remains at six, divided into two performance cores and four energy-efficient cores, but the microarchitecture has been upgraded. Breaking down the A17 Pro’s performance, the CPU scored an impressive 392,643 points, while the GPU reached 597,734 points.

A17 Pro Dominates AnTuTu

AnTuTu confirms Apple’s claim of a 20% increase in GPU performance over the A16 Bionic, revealing an amazing nearly 27% advantage for the A17 Pro. Furthermore, the A17 Pro succeeds in the memory department, with a score of 306,164 points. These results clearly show Apple’s commitment to providing great performance across the board in the domain of smartphone computing.

It’s worth noting that the A17 Pro is exclusively available in the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus still run on the older A16 chipsets.
