Amazfit is one of the most popular smartwatch brands in the US which has various lineups of smartwatches from affordable to premium smartwatches wheres the Amazfit GTS 4 Mini has become widely popular in the affordable segments of the smartwatch. Therefore in this article, I will share my experience with the Amazfit GTS 4 Mini smartwatch and give an in-depth review along with specifications and its features.

Build and Design
Talking about the first impression of the smartwatch it looks very premium with the aluminum body along with a thin form factor and lightweight design of the Amazfit GTS 4 mini while the smartwatch gets a detachable silicon rubber strap. Whereas on the body of the smartwatch we get a crown that only acts like a button which can wake up the watch or customize it for certain functions.
Furthermore talking about the long-term experience with the smartwatch I could easily wear the smartwatch for the whole day and not feel uncomfortable but during my workout, the silicon band on Amazfit GTS 4 Mini would make the wrist uncomfortably sweaty.
Display
I was impressed by the 1.65 inches AMOLED display quality of the Amazfit GTS 4 Mini with vibrant colors and easily readable texts and icons. Furthermore, though the display has a thicker bezel the smartwatch has implemented it flawlessly with a black bezel around the display while the screen is placed at the center, unlike the Amazfit Bip 3 Pro where the screen was placed off-centered.
The smartwatch display brightness gets pretty bright for outdoor uses whereas the display also features an auto-brightness setting along with raise to wake up. Moreover, the watch also gets an always-on display feature but I found myself preferring the raise to wake up feature rather than always on.
Software
Talking about the experience with Amazfit smartwatch software it was very smooth and fluid when navigating through the menus and app in the smartwatch while the swipes are also registered accurately. Furthermore, we get lots of selected apps by Amazfit with customizable watch faces, widgets, and settings as per your liking.
Whereas on the software side of the smartphone its compatible app is Zepp Life which is owned by Amazfit. In the app, we can find lots of health data, more customizable options for your smartwatch that include different permission access, notification access for a smartwatch, customizable health settings, and more.
Connectivity
Amazfit GTS Mini features Bluetooth 5.2 for connecting with your smartphone to receive call and message notifications but you can’t answer calls through the smartwatch. Whereas the smartwatch also gets a 5-satellite positioning system to track your outdoor running accurately.
Health Features
On the Amazfit GTS Mini, we can find 24 hr heart-rate monitoring, blood oxygen saturation, sleep monitoring, 120+ workout and sports mode along with swimming mode as the smartwatch gets 5ATM water resistance. Whereas the smartwatch gets different features such as a Virtual pacer, training load, and training effect to challenge yourself.
For me, the, most used workout mode was outdoor running where I use to track workout time, pace, heart rate, calories, distance, and more. Whereas looking at data after the workout I felt it tracked all the data pretty accurately.
Battery Life
One of the most impressive aspects of the Amazfit Smartwatch GTS 4 Mini is its battery life which provided more than 2 weeks of battery life with my normal uses where I track my outdoor running with the GPS and wear the smartwatch whole day even when sleeping. Furthermore, the smartwatch takes around 2 hours to fully charge with the magnetic charger included with the smartwatch.
Verdict
The Amazfit GTS 4 Mini is a perfect smartwatch with most of the features you need. I almost have no complaints about the smartwatch but if it had Bluetooth calling feature the Amazfit GTS 4 Mini would be undoubtfully perfect. Furthermore, the battery life of the smartwatch will amaze you whereas it gets all the features such as call notifications, heart rate monitoring, SPo2 monitoring, sleep tracking, and more.
