Apple, a tech giant renowned for its innovative prowess, continues to captivate the world with its seamless blend of cutting-edge technology and elegant designs. With its ever-evolving and powerful tech products, Apple has certainly taken the world by storm. Likewise, Apple first introduced the Apple AirTag back in April of 2021. Now, news suggests that it is likely to get a successor called Apple AirTag 2 which could arrive in late 2024 or early 2025.
Apple AirTag 2 to enter Mass Production
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has predicted that Apple could soon start mass production of the Apple AirTag 2 by the fourth quarter of 2024 or by early 2025. Kuo also added that the next AirTag version is expected to work even better with Apple’s Vision Pro, becoming a seamless part of their advanced spatial computing system.
Information about the AirTag 2 is currently limited. However, considering that the original AirTag featured the U1 chip, it’s possible that the AirTag 2 might incorporate the upgraded U2 chip, along with other improvements compared to its earlier version. As time unfolds, additional details regarding the AirTag 2 are expected to emerge over the next few months.
