Design

Design-wise, Apple has made many changes in the MacBook Pro 16 2021 compared to its predecessor. Apple claims to have reduced the size bezels by 20% and the top bezel by around 60%. Moreover, you can see an iPhone-like notch at the top center of the display that houses the camera.

With the 100% recycled aluminum chassis, the device provides better airflow than its predecessor. And you can see that Apple has removed the Touch Bar that was previously atop the keyboard. Apple replaced the touch bar with traditional function keys making the keyboard minimalistic.

As the rumors and predictions, Apple mounted the MacBook Pro 16” with its new Liquid Retina XDR display with the mini-LED display technology previously used in the 12.9-inches iPad Pro 2021.

The display has a resolution of 3456 x 2234 pixels along with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Furthermore, the display features 1,000 nits of sustained brightness, 1,600 nits of peak brightness alongside a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1.
