Asus is a popular global brand specifically known for its gaming laptops whereas the brand has also been in the smartphone industry for a while. Now the brand is gearing up to launch its 8th Generation of Asus ROG gaming smartphone. Asus had officially teased the announcement of ROG Phone 8 which is soon launching. The teaser poster from Asus was revealed on their social media platform X.com (Twitter). On the poster, we can have a glimpse of Asus’s upcoming ROG Phone 8 whereas the poster doesn’t hint at any specification, feature, or launch date of the device. Talking about the design of Asus ROG Phone 8 we can find an updated design with a pentagon-shaped camera island at the top left with three camera sensors and an LED flash.
Moreover, the upcoming Asus ROG Phone 8 looks boxier with flatter frames. The Asus ROG Phone 8 also appears to feature a side-mounted USB-C port on the left side frame similar to what its predecessor Asus ROG Phone 7 series featured.

Besides the teaser shared by Asus for the ROG Phone 8, we can find a few leaks and rumors online about the device. According to the listed benchmark on Gekbench Asus ROG Phone 6 is leaked to pack Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset that gets a max clock speed of 3.3Ghz with an Octa-core CPU paired with 24GB RAM. Whereas the device is expected to run on Andriod 14 out of the box.
Moreover, the listing also reveals the benchmark scores of the Asus ROG Phone 8 with 2,235 points for the single-core test and 7098 points for the multi-core test which is in line with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 figures. Likewise, another listing reveals 65W fast charging support for the device.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Price in Nepal and Launch Date
Asus shared its teased poster for ROG Phone 8 and hinted its soon launch globally. However, Asus hasn’t announced any specific date for launch whereas the device is expected to be announced in 2024. Furthermore, the Asus ROG Phone 8 is unlikely to be announced in Nepal look at the trend as none of the Asus ROG Phones have arrived in Nepal officially.
