Recently we saw Xiaomi Nepal put out a teaser for the Redmi 9 power, and here we have another brand Coolpad who put out a teaser with “#Smartphone for everyone Coming Soon”. The teaser definitely suggests that the phone will be a budget-inclined phone that everyone can afford. But we have to wait for a while to know what the phone really is.
Coolpad in Nepal
After disappearing for 2 years, In 2020, we saw Cool pad returning to the Nepali market. But the old competitor of Xiaomi, Coolpad, hasn’t really done much here in Nepal. But we saw a couple of devices from Coolpad in the budget segment. Now again, Coolpad is hinting at the launch of yet another budget-oriented smartphone. Looking back to the year 2020, major launches feature the Coolpad Cool S and Coolpad Cool 10. The devices were launched in the price range varying from Rs.15,000 to Rs.26,500. All Coolpad devices are listed on Daraz, or you could get them from retailers from around the country.

Moving back to the Coolpad Nepal teaser, although the device isn’t clear, we can still see the rear panel of the smartphone. The phone features a triple camera setup with a fingerprint sensor at the back. We can expect a Wide primary camera with an Ultra-wide lens and a depth sensor on the rear, or unfortunately, like in the Coolpad Cool 10, you could also see a macro sensor instead of an ultra-wide lens. Although the device isn’t clear yet, Coolpad Nepal will announce the device soon, and you can stay updated with us to know further when the device gets announced.
