DJI Mini 3 Pro Overview 

DJI Mini 3 Pro comes with a new and larger 1/1.3-inch sensor with a 48MP of camera. And the dimensions of the drone when folded are 145×90×62 mm and weigh under 249 grams making the Mini 3 Pro lightest and smallest. The drone comes with increased battery life and flight distance. Moreover, the Diji Mini 3 comes with a new remote control which eliminates the need for the phone.  

Design & Build 

Taking about the design and build quality DJI mini 3 Pro offers the most premium quality in the drone segment. The dimension of the drone is 145×90×62 mm when folded and 251×362×70 mm when unfolded with the propellers. And weighs under 250 grams with all the new upgrades in the drone.          

Camera

DJI Mini 3 Pro gets a massive improvement in its camera hardware. With the new 1/1.3-inch 48MP camera, a larger aperture of f/1.7, 82.1° field of view, and a new sensor. The camera is capable of recording 4K video at 60 fps, and slow-motion video at 120fos in 1080p resolution. 

Furthermore, the DJI mini 3 Pro camera supports HDR, various JPEG, DNG (RAW) photo formats,s, and MP4/MOV video formats. And has other features such as a panorama sphere, 180°, and Wide-angle. While DJI mini 3 also adds a Vertical video format for different social media such as Facebook, Tiktok, and Instagram.  

Whereas the  DJI Mini 3 Pro, features a 3-axis mechanical gimbal with tilt, roll, and pan features. With a mechanical range of 135° to 80° tilt, 135° to 45° Roll, and 30° to 30° Pan, and a controllable range of 90° to 60° tilt and 90° or 0° Roll.       

Connection

DJI Mini 3 Pro transmits live video in 1080p at 30fps with an operating frequency of  2.4 GHz to 5.8 GHz. Whereas the latency between Aircraft and remote controllers is 120ms. The drone has a Bluetooth 5.2 and a Wifi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac     

Battery 

The DJI Mini 3 Pro comes with two battery options an Intelligent Flight battery and an intelligent Fight battery plus. The standard intelligent battery has a capacity of 2453mAh which give you a flight time of 34 minutes. Which can fully charge in 64mins with a DJI 30W USB-C charger? Whereas the optional flight plus battery has a capacity of 3850mAh and can fully charge in 101min.
