DJI Osmo Action 3 Overview
Camera
The DJI Osmo Action 3 features a similar camera setup as the previous Action 2 camera with a 12MP 1/1.7 inches sensor behind a 155° ultra-wide lens of f2.8 aperture. Furthermore, the camera is capable of recording 4K at 120Fps, 1080P at 60fps, and 240fps video at 1080P while it also features several slow-motion modes and hyper-lapse video up to 4K resolution.
Moreover, the DJI Osmo Action 3 brings improved electronic image stabilization with RockStedy 3.0 which works up to 4K video at 120FPS. In addition, the camera features a HorizonSteady to keep the horizon level even when you’re spinning 360° whereas it only supports 2.7K video at 60fps.
Display
DJI Osmo Action 3 features a small 1.4 inches display on the front with touch functionality whereas at the back we can find a large 2.25inch display that also supports touch functionality.
Battery and Other features
With the improved thermals the DJI Osmo Action 3 camera can record up to 160 minutes at 1080p with no EIS and screen off. Whereas the camera has a wide operating temperature of -20° to 45°C with the included battery a thing to note is that the battery cant is charged below freezing temperature. Furthermore, the battery has fast charging support that can charge up to 80% in 18 minutes.
