Brands like Xiaomi, OnePlus, Realme, OPPO, and more have officially conformed about their next flagship device to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, and among them all, Motorola has even announced the date for their Moto Edge X30, which is going to be the first smartphone with this Chip and is launching on 9th of December. Let’s have a closer look into the Moto Edge X30 along with its expected features and design.Â
Moto Edge X30 – What to expectÂ
As I said earlier, it will be the first flagship smartphone to feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. As the recent leaked 3C certification of the device suggests, Moto Edge X30 will come with a 6.67-inch 144Hz AMOLED screen with HDR10+ support, which means max brightness upto 900+ nits. Free leaks also suggest that inside the punch hole on the front we might get a 60MP selfie shooter.Â
Talking about the rear camera we might get a triple camera setup with a 50MP main and 50MP ultra-wide shooter along with a 2MP depth sensor. Whereas listing on TENNA certification suggests that the device will have a 6GB/8GB/12GB variant 128 GB / 256 GB / 512 GB of storage. On the battery front, Moto Edge X30 is rumored to come with a 5000mAh battery and 68W fast-charging.Â
We might even get a different variant of Moto Edge X30 launching on the same date with this new SoC and named Moto Edge 30 Ultra. Along with Motorola, we have also seen Xiaomi boasting about their Xiaomi 12, to be the first device to come up with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, but as of now, there is no confirmation on the date. So looks like this time Motorola is the one to make the debut.Â
