Samsung is back with the latest iteration of their ‘M’ series device. Samsung Galaxy M62 has been launched in Nepal, somewhat similar to the recently launched Galaxy F62 in India.  This time Samsung has brought some features Super AMOLED Plus and a massive 7000mAh battery with the Galaxy M62, which are pretty exclusive. Let’s see how the Galaxy M62 competes with the OnePlus Nord N10 5G as they come at a price of under 40k.

Design and Display:

Starting with the Samsung Galaxy M62, it comes with a quad-camera setup at the back and a punch hole single camera at the front. The phone has a premium-looking 6.7 inches display. Weighing about 218g and 9.5mm thickness, the device is comparatively heavy and thick.

Moving on, the OnePlus Nord N10 5G has a more premium look, with a quad-camera setup at the back and a punch home selfie camera at the top left corner at the front. The device is featured with a 6.49 inches screen display which is relatively smaller than the Galaxy M62. the phone weighs about 190g and is 9mm in thickness which is lighter than the Galaxy M62.

Talking about the display of these devices, Galaxy M62 is featured with a 60Hz refresh rate with Super AMOLED Plus display. In contrast, the OnePlus Nord N10 5G is featured with a 90Hz refresh rate with an IPS LCD screen display. The Galaxy M62 comes with a larger screen size of 6.7-inch panel 1080 x 2400 resolution. Whereas the OnePlus Nord N10 5G comes with a smaller panel of 6.49 inches with the exact resolution of 1080 x 2400.

Performance:

Talking about the software, the Galaxy M62 is featured with Exynos 9825 processor built under a 7nm architecture. Whereas Mali-G76 MP12 is handling the graphics. Likewise, the OnePlus Nord N10 5G is featured with Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 built under 8nm architecture, and Adreno 619L handles the graphics. 

Along with the processors, both devices are featured with Android 11, One UI 3.1, and Android 10, OxygenOS 10.5 operating system, respectively. 

But the OnePlus Nord N10 is definitely ahead of the Galaxy M62 with its 5G connectivity, while the Galaxy M62 has 4G connectivity.

Camera & battery:

In terms of camera comparison, both devices are featured with a quad-camera setup. Talking about the Galaxy M62, the primary camera comes with a 64MP f/1.8 aperture wide-angle camera with an ultra-wide camera of 12 MP, f/2.2 aperture giving an angle view of 123˚. Completing the quad setup of Galaxy M62, there is a 5MP macro and a 5MP depth sensor camera.

Moving on, the OnePlus Nord N10 5G comes with the main camera of 64 MP, f/1.8 aperture wide-angle camera supported by an 8MP ultrawide camera giving an angle view of 119˚. Completing its setup, there is a 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensor camera.

Lastly, talking about the batteries of these devices, Galaxy M62 is featured with a massive battery of 7000mA. In contrast, the OnePlus Nord N10 5G comes with a battery of 4300 mAh, which is far less compared with the Samsung Galaxy M62.

The Galaxy M62 is available in three color variants: Laser Green, Laser Gray, Laser Blue, whereas the OnePlus Nord N10 5G is available in one color variant: Midnight Ice.
