Google One, Google’s cloud storage subscription service, has recently achieved a significant milestone, surpassing 100 million paying subscribers. With plans ranging from Basic to Premium, Google One caters to various storage needs and preferences. The Basic plan, starting at $1.99 per month or $19.99 per year, provides 100GB of storage along with additional perks like sharing with up to five users, advanced photo editing features such as Magic Eraser, VPN access, and dark web monitoring. Moving up to the Standard plan, priced at $2.99 per month or $29.99 per year, users get 200GB of storage and a 3% reward on purchases made through the Google Store.

Google One Surpasses 100 Million Subscribers

For those requiring even more storage, Google offers the Premium plan, starting at $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year, which provides 2TB of storage and includes premium features from Google Workspace, such as advanced tools for Meet and Calendar. Additionally, subscribers to the Premium plan receive a 10% reward on Google Store purchases. There are higher-tier plans available for users with larger storage needs.

Introduction of AI Premium Plan:

Recently, Google introduced the AI Premium plan, priced at $19.99 per month, which incorporates advanced features powered by Google’s Gemini AI model. These features bring enhanced functionality to Google services, including Gmail, Slides, and Sheets. For example, AI Premium subscribers can benefit from features like generating drafts in Gmail, organizing content in Slides, and visualizing data within Sheets.

Currently, subscribers on plans with 5TB or more storage have access to a limited-time trial of AI Premium features until July 31, 2024, at no additional cost. Google plans to expand the availability of AI Premium to other subscriber groups, including Google Fi Unlimited users and those who pay for Google One through third-party billing providers.
