A while ago Google held an online event to announce various new Google products. Pixel 6a was one of them which is basically an affordable version of Pixel 6. Design and Display
On the front, Pixel 6a has a 6.1-inch OLED display with a hole punch design at the top center. Despite costing $449, it only supports up to a 60Hz refresh rate. Likewise, the panel has FullHD+ resolution and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It got HDR content support and features Always On Display.
The handset looks similar to its bigger siblings. Its back panel is made up of plastic and the frames are of aluminum. The body is IP67 dust/water resistant and has an optical under-display fingerprint scanner underneath the front glass. Moreover, it comes in three color options: Chalk, Charcoal, and Sage.
Camera
Google’s Pixel lineup is known for its cameras. The magic google does through its software optimization is at the next level. Along with its in-house built Tensor chipset, Google is now able to achieve even better results.
The Pixel 6a flaunts a dual-camera setup at the back with a 12.2MP main shooter. The main shooter has an f/1.7 aperture, dual-pixel PDAF, and OIS. Likewise, there is a 12MP ultrawide lens with an f/2.2 aperture and 114-degree field of view.
On the front, you get an 8MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The front camera can record up to 1080p videos at 30fps while you can go up to 4k@60fps from the primary rear camera.

Performance
As outlined above, Pixel 6a is powered by a Google Tensor chipset. It is the same chipset used in its expensive siblings. The chipset comes with an eight-core CPU with a peak clock speed of 2.8Ghz. Likewise, graphics are handled by Mali-G78 MP20 GPU.
It also has a Titan M2 security chipset. Google has also promised at least 5 years of security and OS updates on the Pixel 6a. The device is available with 6GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage. Moreover, it boosts on stock Android 12 out of the box.
Other Features
Backing the Pixel 6a is a 4410mAh battery that supports 18W charging via Type-C 3.1 port. Unfortunately, it misses out on wireless charging and reverse wireless charging.

Google is yet to launch any Pixel-series devices officially in Nepal. If they somehow launch the Pixel 6a in Nepal, we expect the Google Pixel 6a price in Nepal to be around 69,999.
