Honor 50 series was launched last January and was the first device from the Honor after its separation from Huawei and comes with all the necessary Google services. Today, we get the successor, the Honor 60 series. The Honor 60 Pro is the first device in the world to feature Snapdragon 778G+ SoC, while the non-pro version comes with the regular 778G. Let’s have a closer look into the features and specs of the Honor 60 Pro along with its expected price in Nepal.Â
Honor 60 Pro OverviewÂ
Design & DisplayÂ
At the back, the device features a similar design to the Honor 50 with cameras on the circular humps with the Honor logo at the bottom. While at the front we get a large 6.78-inches OLED display. It’s a 120Hz panel with 10Bit color support with a pixel density of 1200 x 2652 pixels and supports HDR10+. The display has quad curved which the company argues leads to a smoother in-hand feel.Â
PerformanceÂ
Honor 60 Pro features the world’s first Snapdragon 778G+ SoC. It is an octa-core SoC with 1×2.5 GHz Cortex-A78 & 3×2.4 GHz Cortex-A78 & 4×1.8 GHz Cortex-A55 cores configuration. This SoC promises 20% higher performance than the previous one. Along with this, we get Adreno 642L GPU. Along with this for the memory configuration, we have 8/12GB RAM along with 256GB of internal storage.Â
The device is running on Magic UI 5.0 out of the box, which is based on Android 12 which promises improvements to privacy and security, along with other enhancements.Â
Camera

For the optics on the Honor 60 Pro, we get a Triple camera setup at the rear with 108 MP, f/1.9 Main shooter that can do 9-in-1 pixel binning for an effective pixel size of 2.1 µm. The rear camera packs a 50MP f/2.2 ultra-wide sensor with a field of view of 122Ëš. Here to the last one is a 2MP f/2.4, macro shooter. Whereas at the front, inside the punch hole we are treated with a 50 MP, f/2.4 sensor. The camera setup can capture 4K videos at 30fps from both front and rear.Â
Battery and Other SpecsÂ
On the battery department, Honor 60 Pro is equipped with a 4800 mAh, which supports upto whopping 66W charging and according to the company can charge upto 50% in just 15 minutes. Other than that, the device features stereo speakers, WiFi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2.Â

Honor 60 – Quick LookÂ
Honor 60 is the vanilla variant with a slightly smaller 6.67-inch AMOLED display. Here the device is powered by the regular Snapdragon 778G powering the show, which has 2.4Ghz of max clock speed compared to 2.5GHz on the 778G+. For the GPU we have a similar Adreno 642L handling the GPU duties. For the memory configuration, we get 128GB/256GB storage with 8/12GB RAM.Â
Talking about the camera we get a similar 108MP camera and a downgrade on the ultra-wide with 8 MP, f/2.2, 112Ëš field of view. The last one is the similar 2MP f/2.4 macro shooter. While at the front we get a 32MP f/2.4 shooter. For the battery, we have a similar 4800mAH cell with 66W of fast charging like the Pro variant. On this one, we miss out on the stereo speaker display, but the under-display fingerprint is available on both the Pro and regular variants.Â

As of now, the Honor 60 series has been launched only in China with a starting price of CNY 2,699 for the base variant of Honor 60. While the Honor 60 Pro starts at CNY 3,699 for the base configuration. If launched in Nepal, we expect the price of Honor 60 in Nepal to start at NRs.52,000 and the expected price of Honor 60 Pro in Nepal is NRs.75,000.Â
