Honor Play6T and Play6T Pro announced with different processors

Honor recently announced its two new devices Honor Play6T and Honor Play6T Pro. Both devices come with different features and specs. Obviously, the Pro model comes with better specs and features. So, here, in this article, we will be talking about both devices along with the Honor Play6T Pro price in Nepal.

Honor Play6T overview:

Design and display:

The Honor Play6T features 6.7 inches IPS LCD screen panel. You also get a 720 x 1600 pixels resolution with the device. Talking about the design, it features a triple camera setup that comes in a rectangular box. There is a standard Honor logo at the bottom of the back panel. Likewise, at the front, there is a single selfie camera in a waterdrop design. By looking at the pictures, it is seen that the bottom bezels are thick whereas, the bezels at the side are thin.

Performance and battery:

Talking about the performance, the device features the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor that is built under 7nm architecture. The 7nm chipset features an octa-core processor with two Cortex-A76 clocked at 2.2 GHz and six Cortex-A55 clocked at 2.0 GHz. Whereas, the graphics of the device is handled by Mali-G57 MC2. On the OS part, the device features Android 11 software with Magic UI 4.2 skin on top. A point to be noted is the OS doesn’t support Google Play Service. Lastly, you can get this device in storage variants of 128/8GB RAM and 256/8GB RAM.

On the battery part, you will get a 5,000 mAh battery with no fast charging support.

Camera and other features:

Moving on to the camera, the device is featured with a triple camera setup where the main camera is a 13 MP main camera. Supporting the main camera, the device features a 2 MP, f/2.4 aperture macro lens and a 2 MP, f/2.4 aperture depth sensor. At the front, there is a 5 MP single selfie camera.

There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner placed with the power button.

Honor Play6T Pro:

Design and display:

The Honor Play6T Pro features 6.7 inches IPS LCD screen. With the display, you get a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Moving on to the design, the device features a dual-camera setup that comes in a square-shaped box. There is a standard honor logo at the bottom of the back panel. At the front, there is a single selfie camera in a punch-hole design. The pro model looks more premium than the base model.

Performance and battery:

Talking about the performance, the honor Play6T Pro is featured with MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor that is built under 6nm architecture. The 6nm chipset features an octa-core processor with two Cortex-A76 clocked at 2.4 GHz and six Cortex-A55 clocked at 2.0 GHz. Whereas, the graphic of the device is handled by Mali-G57 MC2. Likewise, the device features Android 11 software with Magic UI 4.2 skin on top. You can get the device in the storage variants of 128/8GB RAM and 256/8GB RAM.

On the battery part, the device features a 4000mAh battery with fast charging support of 40W.

Camera and other features:

Moving on to the camera part, the device features a dual-camera setup where, the main camera is 48 MP, f/1.8 aperture wide lens. Supporting the main camera and completing the setup, there a 2 MP, f/2.4 aperture depth sensors. At the front, there is an 8 MP single selfie camera.

There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner that is placed with the power button.

Here, the Honor Play 6T will be available at the price of CNY1,199 for an 8/128GB storage variant in China. Whereas, for the 8/256GB storage the price tag is CNY1,399. As for the Honor Play6T Pro, the price tag is CNY1,399 for the base variant whereas, for the 8/256GB storage variant, the device costs CNY1,599. 

If launched in Nepal, we expect the Honor Play6T Pro price in Nepal to be around Rs 26699.
