Honor X40i Overview
Design & Display
The Honor X40i brings a colorful design at its back with a camera inside a circular design, which is new to look at. While at the front we get a 6.7-inch LTPS LCD display. This is a standard 8Bit, 60Hz FHD+ display with a resolution of 2388*1080 pixels. At the top, we get a circular cutout for the front camera with thin bezels all around the device. The device is thin at 7.43mm and weighs around 175gm.
Performance & Software
Under the hood, Honor X40i is powered by Mediatek Dimensity 700 SoC. This is the same chipset that we have previously seen in devices like Poco M4 5G & Samsung Galaxy F42 5G. The Dimensity 700 has an octa-core CPU two Cortex-A76 cores (2.2Ghz) and six Cortex-A55 cores (2.0Ghz). Moreover, graphics work is handled by Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. Talking about the memory options, we get 8/128GB, 8/256GB, and 12/256GB variants.
On the Software side, the X40i runs on Android 12 out of the box with Honor Own Magic UI 6.1 on top.
Optics & Battery
At the front, the device supports an 8MP camera (f/2.0 aperture), which can record 1080P videos up to 30fps and also works as a face scanner to unlock the device. While at the rear we get a dual-camera setup with a 50MP (f/1.8 aperture) + 2MP depth-of-field camera (f/2.4 aperture). With this setup, the device can record FHD videos up to 30fps from the rear camera as well. The camera app is equipped with features like large aperture, night scene, portrait, photography, filter, AI photography, and more.
Moving on to the battery, we get a 4000mAh cell on the Honor X40i the device supports 40W fast charging, and the charger is provided in the box.
Other features
The device supports Dual-band WiFi (2.4/5Ghz), 5G, and Bluetooth 5.1. We get a 3.5mm jack and dual nano sim support on the Honor X40i. The device is available in four different colors: Rose Galaxy, Star Dream Silver, Ink Jade Blue, and Phantom Night Black.

Honor X40i Price in Nepal and Availability
As of now, Honor X40i has been launched in China starting at CNY 1,599 for the base 8/128GB variant and going up to CNY 1,999 for the 12/256GB model. If launched in Nepal, we expect the Price of Honor X40i in Nepal to start at NPR. 31,999 for 8GB/128GB option.
