Honor has now added a new device under its “X” series; Honor X9 5G. The device is powered by Snapdragon 695. Honor X9 5G made its first debut in Malaysia and is available for pre-order on their site. Design and display:
The Honor X9 5G features a 6.81 inches IPS LCD screen along with a 120Hz refresh rate panel. You will also get a resolution of 1080 x 2388 pixels. Likewise, the device comes with a triple camera setup at the back in a circular-shaped design. There is also a standard honor logo at the bottom of the back panel. Moreover, there is a single selfie camera at the front that comes in a punch-hole camera.
The bezels at the bottom side are quite thick while looking at the pictures. Further, the device comes with a thickness of 8.1mm along with a weight of 189g.
Performance:
Talking about the performance, Honor X9 5G is featured with Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor that is built under 6nm architecture. The 6nm chipset features an octa-core processor with two Kryo 660 Gold clocked at 2.2 GHz and six Kryo 660 Silver clocked at 1.8 GHz. Whereas, the graphics are handled by Adreno 619. Likewise, you get Android 11 software with Magic UI 4.2 skin on top. There is a storage variant of 128/8GB RAM. Launching a device with Android 11 at this time of the year is something brands should be ashamed of.
Camera:
Moving on to the camera, Honor X9 5G is featured with a triple camera setup where, the main camera is 48 MP, with an f/1.8 aperture wide-angle lens. Supporting the main camera, there is a 2 MP, f/2.4 aperture macro lens. Finally, completing the triple camera setup, there is a 2 MP, f/2.4 aperture depth sensor. The main camera can record videos up to 1080p@30fps.
At the front, there is a 16 MP, f/2.5 aperture single selfie camera that can record videos up to1080p@30fps as well.

Honor X9 Pro is featured with a 4800 mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. Also, it is advertised that with the 66W fast charger, you can charge your device up to 81% in under 30 minutes. Honor X9 also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner with other sensors like an accelerometer, gyro, and a compass.
