After the Pavilion Power and Victus, Omen is the flagship gaming laptop series of HP. Omen has been one of the best competitors for the best gaming laptops. The latest Omen 16 and 17 were announced in early May of 2021. Finally, these beasts are soon launching in Nepal. Furthermore, let’s look at the specification and price of HP Omen 16 and 17 in Nepal.
HP Omen 16 Overview
Hp Omen 16 is the successor model of Omen 15. The Latest Omen 16 as the previous model comes with a 16.1-inch display with up to QHD resolution. It is available in only one color i.e. shadow black. The Screen has very thin bezels on the left and right sides. They come with a refresh rate of up to 165Hz.
The Omen 16 is available with all the latest processors. However, we are not sure exactly which model will be coming to Nepal. It is expected that the 11th Gen i7 and 5000-Ryzen 7 will be available in Nepal. You will get a 16GB RAM expandable up to 32GB. Along with that you also get a 1TB SSD.
Talking about ports, you get a For I/O, it includes 1x Thunderbolt 4 (Intel variant), 1x SuperSpeed USB Type-C (PD/Display Port), 3x SuperSpeed USB Type-A, 1x RJ-45, 1x AC Smart pin, 1x combo audio, 1 Mini DisplayPort, and 1x HDMI 2.1 port.

HP Omen 17 Overview
The HP Omen 17 is similar to the Omen 16 but has a slightly larger screen of 17.3 inches. This laptop is also available in only shadow black color. The Omen 17 ships with a 17.3-inch IPS, 144Hz/165Hz, anti-glare, and a Low Blue Light with 300 nits of brightness and 100% sRGB color gamut.
This laptop for now is available with Intel processors only. The AMD version of this laptop is not yet available. It comes up to Intel Core i9-11900H CPU. Along with the CPU it is packed with Nvidia’s RTX 3080 GPU with 165W TGP and up to 16GB of video memory. The Omen 17 Ships with 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD.
Talking about Slots, they can be paired with up to 32GB of DDR4-3200MHz RAM and 1TB SSD storage. The company has added a new cooling mechanism in Omen 17 that claims to reduce the temperature by 5º Celsius. Furthermore, the laptop supports Wi-Fi 6E and features a Thunderbolt 4.0 port.

HP Omen Price in Nepal
The price of Omen 16 and 17 is not yet announced in Nepal. However, it costs around USD 1700$ for the Omen 16 and around USD 3000$ for the Omen 17.
