Huawei announced Mate Xs 2 back in May 2022 whereas now they had confirmed the launch of the Huawei Mate 50 series through its teasers. So in this article, we will be talking about the Huawei Mate 50 with its specification, features, and expected price in Nepal with its launch date.
Huawei Mate 50 Overview
Huawei hasn’t shared much about the design or specific highlights of the smartphone therefore Huawei is due to lift the curtains of its next-generation Mate 50 series on 6th September 2022 a day early than the iPhone 14 series launch event. Whereas per the teaser from of Huawei Mate 50 Series the device will feature industry-breaking smartphone battery life and satellite communication technology.
Design and Display
The Huawei Mate 50 is expected to get a glass and aluminum chassis with flat aluminum sides and glass on the front and back. Moreover, the device will feature a flat 1.5K AMOLED display with a resolution of 2800*1225 pixels along with a 90Hz refresh rate and a punch hole on the center top of the screen.
Performance
It’s rumored that the Huawei Mate 50 will be featuring a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset to compete with Andriod flagships smartphones such as Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, OnePlus 10T, and other latest devices. Whereas there could be major differences in the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset in the Huawei mate 50 devices as it is rumored to not feature 5G capability.
Camera
In the camera department, we could see a partnership between Huawei and XMAGE as the partnership between German camera maker Lecia and Huawei was ended. Therefore we expect Huawei Mate 50 to feature a camera setup co-engineered with XMAGE.
Moreover, the Huawei mate 50 is rumored to feature a Sony IMX766 sensor with an aperture of f/1.5 and a max resolution of 50MP.
Other features
According to the teaser video shared by Huawei where the satellite was getting launched which pretty much confirms that the upcoming Huawei mate 50 will support satellite communication features. Therefore the Satellite communication feature will provide an emergency messaging service supported by the Beidou system.
Huawei Mate 50 Price in Nepal and Availablity
Huawei Mate 50 will be launching on the 6th of September tomorrow in a physical launch event in China along with its other mate 50 series. Whereas to date we don’t have any information on Huawei Mate 50 prices and availability for the global market.
