Huawei P smart 2021 debuts in Europe in countries like Austria, Slovenia, Estonia, and Croatia. It’s not surprising for us to see a punch hole in the top center of any smartphone but this is the first phone from Huawei to come with a center cutout punch hole. It is the successor of Huawei P Smart 2020 and comes with a 48MP quad-camera on the rear side, fast charging, and a big screen.
Display and design:
Huawei P Smart 2021 has a physical dimension of 165.65 x 76.88 x 9.26 weighing 206gm. It comes with a 6.67 inches IPS LCD that supports full HD+ resolution 1080 x 2400 pixels with an aspect ratio of 20:9. The screen to body ratio of the device is 90.3 percent. It has a side-mounted fingerprint reader for biometric authentication.
Performance:
It is powered by Kirin 710 of SMIC based on 14nm technology. The configuration that the phone comes with is 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage that can be expanded via a microSD slot. Android 10 OS comes preinstalled on the device with EMUI 10.1 OS on top of it. Unfortunately, we all know that Huawei’s smartphone won’t come with google service. Despite this fact, Huawei provides the smartphone with Huawei AppGallery and Huawei Mobile service.
Camera:
The rear side of the device has quad cameras arranged vertically with LED flash support in the same bump. The primary camera is of 48MP f/1.8 coupled with 8MP 120° f/2.4 ultrawide camera. The other two cameras are a depth camera and a macro camera of 2MP f/2.4 each. The front camera is a punch hole housing an 8MP selfie camera of aperture f/2.0.
Battery:
It is backed with a 5000mAh battery that is able to run the device for 38.2hrs of making 4G calls and 12hrs of 4G web surfing in a single charge. It is bundled with 22.5W SuperCharge fast charger in the box that can run the device for 2hrs watching videos while charged for 10min.
Price and Availability:
Huawei P Smart 2021 is priced at 229 euros (~NPR 31,425) in Austria that is going on sale in Europe starting from somewhere between October. It is available in three color options: Midnight Black, Brush Gold, and Crush Green.
