iPhone 13 Pro is up for Pre-orders in Nepal, starting at Price of Rs.174,990

Apple has just unveiled iPhone 13 series with 4 different iPhones. iPhone 13 and 13 Mini have somewhat similar features set. The Pro category has seen some major upgrades with a 120Hz OLED display, a new and upgraded camera setup, 1TB Storage longer battery life, and more. In this article, let’s have a closer look into the iPhone 13 Pro along with all of its new features and expected prices in Nepal. 

iPhone 13 Pro Overview 

Design and Display 

iPhone 13 Pro looks similar to the last year iPhone 12 Pro, but there are minor design changes here and there. In this glass sandwich design, wrapped with Aluminum, On the back, we get an upgraded triple camera setup with LIDAR with an Apple logo on the middle. Whereas the notch on the front is shrunken 20% by the width with a tiny increase in the height, housing all those face ID tech and speaker grill as it packs stereo speakers. 

In iPhone 13 Pro we get a 6.1-inch OLED display with Super Retina XDR display and 120Hz ProMotion from Apple. This panel supports adaptive refresh rates up to 120Hz and it is an HDR display with upto 1200 nits of maximum brightness. The display also supports True Tone and P3 color gamut. With the introduction of 120Hz on iPhones, the gaming experience is going to improve a lot. 

Performance 

Apple iPhone 13 Pro is powered by Apple’s all-new A15 Bionic Chip. This is a 5nm Hexa-core SoC with 2 efficiency cores and 4 high-performance cores. Along with this, we get a 5-core GPU, which Apple claims to deliver up to 50% faster graphics performance than any other smartphone chip. We also have a 16-core neural engine that performs up to 15.8 trillion operations per second, enabling Cinematic mode, Smart HDR 4, and more. Along with all this power, for the first time, we are getting a 1TB storage option with the iPhone 12 Pro lineup.  Also if you choose the 128GB variant of the iPhone 12 Pro, then you will only be able to record ProRes videos at 1080p@30 fps. Performance was never an issue in the iPhones and now the gap is even wider when compared to an Android flagship.

Camera 

Apple iPhone 13 Pro packs an all-new upgraded camera system with a 12MP f/1.5 aperture. It is a seven-element lens with dual pixel PDAF, and industry-leading sensor-shift stabilization. Along with that, we have a 12MP f/1.8, 120˚ ultrawide shooter with PDAF. The next one is a 12MP f/2.8 3X telephoto camera with PDAF and OIS. Now for the first time, all their cameras support Night Mode on the iPhones due to all new and powerful ISP on the A15 SoC. 

iPhone 13 Pro can record ProRes video recording up to 4K at 30 fps. We also get all new Cinematic mode for recording videos with a shallow depth of field at 1080P@30fps. It can record HDR video recording with Dolby Vision up to 4K at 60 fps. Whereas the normal 4K videos can be recorded at 24/30/60 fps. While at the front we get a 12MP sensor along with a true depth camera system, resulting in secured and fast face unlock. The Pro iPhones also feature a LIDAR sensor helping in all AR-related tasks and 3D mapping for better portraits. 

Other Features 

As Apple never says the battery capacity we, don’t have exact numbers. But according to team Apple, we get 2.5 hours of increased battery life compared to last year’s iPhone 12 with video playback of up to 22 hours.  iPhone 13 Pro supports 20W fast wired charging and 15W MagSafe wireless charging with 7.5W Qi Wireless charging and runs on the latest iOS 15. Also, the device comes with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

Just like the iPhone 13 and 13 Pro Max, the prebooking of the iPhone 13 Pro has started in Nepal via Genext. The Official price of the iPhone 13 Pro in Nepal is Rs.174,990 for the 128GB variant and maxes out at Rs.255,990 for the 1TB variant.
