iPhone 14 Pro is reported to suffer a bug: Shaky Camera Feature in Third-party Apps

The worldwide anticipated iPhone 14 series was officially released this September 16. The iphone 14 was upgraded with a few changes such as the long-term battery, upgraded camera, improved processor, and a few changes to the internal hardware. However, within a few days of the iphone 14 release, people are already finding quite many bugs. One of the new bugs found in the series is the shaking camera issue while using third-party apps. Shaky camera with blurry footage

From the report of apple insider, iphone 14 users are complaining the device’s camera is quite shaky while filming or recording video. The iphone 14 is upgraded with a main 12MP camera that has a larger aperture and pixel size compared to iPhone 13. The iPhone 14 Pro series features a 48-megapixel primary camera on the rear. This features an Action Mode as well for smoother video capture.

Despite this, the cameras dont seem to be doing a fine job while filming from third-party apps. Apps such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat, and others are having trouble with users. Users claim that they can see and hear shakes with technical noises when they use the third-party app’s camera features. The issue isn’t reported while using the general camera from the ios 16.

There isn’t any response from the apple team, but the issue is spectacular to be a software issue rather than the overall camera system. The bug reported is probably the shaking of the OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) system which could be the primary reason.

Meanwhile, let’s hope for the matter to be solved with an official response from apple. The Iphone series has been an iconic stable brand for many users for a long time. Such bugs can create a passive response from users to the brand’s marketing strategy and reputation.
