Apple has already announced its iPhone 14 series (iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 pro, & iPhone 14 Pro max) on September 7. Whereas, the company has revealed its battery capacity just yesterday. And now, the news of the iPhone 14 battery replacement hiked price is all over the markets. Previously, Apple has amazed its customer by offering the longest battery life ever. But as of now, customers are a little worried regarding the raise in price of battery replacement on the new iPhone 14 models.
If you are an iPhone 14 models holders or in a wait to buy these new iPhones, you might wanna know the cost of the battery replacement. So, let me clear you, it seems that Apple has raised its prices to $99, which is a long jump compared to last year’s which is $69. Whereas, the exact hiked difference is 43%. This is in the case of the US.
But the difference in other countries is even more striking. Let’s see in the case of the UK. The price of iPhone 13 series replacements in the UK cost £69, but for the 14 series, it will cost £105. If we calculate the difference, we will see a hike went by 52%. Similarly, the price for battery replacements in France has jumped by 59%, starting from €75 to €119.
This price applies to all the new iPhone 14 models: iPhone14, iPhone 14 plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. If we compare these new models’ battery capacity to their predecessors, we will find it marginally bigger. So, we can guess the major reason for the battery replacement hike was due to the larger battery capacity. However, the exact reason has not been clear yet.
