iPhone 14 series Launching soon in Nepal as the Import ban is set to lift on December 16, 2022.

The government of Nepal imposed a ban from April 26, 2022, on 10 different types of luxury goods which included restrictions on mobile sets costing above $300, and Tv sets above 32 inches followed by a ban on other luxury products. Whereas now Nepal government has finally decided to lift the 8-month-long ban on December 16, 2022.

Moreover talking about the import ban in Nepal was first imposed on April 2022 as a measure to prevent depleting foreign currency reserves in Nepal the ban got slightly relaxed on late August 2022 permitting large television sets while banning only expensive mobile sets, liquor products, and targeted vehicles.

Futhermore as the ban is being lifted on December 16, 2022, we can see various brands prepared to launch their premium smartphone in Nepal as their smartphone launches were halted due to the import ban in Nepal. Whereas in Nepal, the most awaited launch is the iPhone 14 series which includes iPhone 14 Pro Max, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Plus, and iPhone 14. Therefore official stores such as Oliz store are already prepaid to launch iPhone 14 series in Nepal.

Similarly, Realme has also been teasing its Realme 10 Pro Plus 5G smartphone on its official social media for the launch which is a device above $300.

Additionally, If you remember the Samsung Galaxy Fold 4 and Galaxy Flip 4 were launched a while back globally but to due the ban, these devices weren’t launched in Nepal after the ban is lifted on December 16, 2022, we can expect these devices to launch soon.
