iQOO Neo 6 SE goes official with Snapdragon 870 and 120Hz AMOLED display

Vivo sub-brand iQOO has added a new device to the Neo 6 series. The company introduced the Neo 6 SE with Snapdragon 870 chipset and 120Hz AMOLED display. Let’s have a look at the specifications, features, availability, and expected price of the iQOO Neo 6 SE in Nepal.

Design and Display

iQOO Neo 6 SE flaunts a glass back design with a matte finish. Its edges are curved while the display is flat. It houses a rectangular camera layout at the back that has three cameras and a LED flash. Furthermore, the back panel has three color options: Blazing orange, interstellar, and neon. 

For media consumption, the handset sports a big 6.62-inch AMOLED display with a hole punch design. It has a Full HD+ resolution and supports 16.5-million colors. Likewise, the display supports up to 120Hz refresh rate and hit up to 1300 nits of peak brightness. It has 100% PC color gamut coverage and also supports HDR10+ content. 

Camera

On to the cameras now. The device has a triple camera setup at the back with a 64MP main sensor. It comes with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and has an f/1.89 aperture. The second lens is the 12MP ultrawide sensor with a 120-degree field of view and f/2.2 aperture. At last, there is a 2MP B&W lens.  Upfront, it has a 16MP front-facing camera that has an f/2.0 aperture.

iQOO Neo 6 SE is powered by Snapdragon 870 chipset manufactured under 7nm architecture. It is the same chipset used in Poco F3, Xiaomi 12X, Realme GT Neo 2, and many more. The chipset features an eight-core CPU with 3.2Ghz of peak clock speed and Adreno 650 GPU. 

The phone is available with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256G of UFS 3.1 storage. On the software front, it boosts on Android 12 with OriginOS skin on top. For taking care of heat, it features five layers of three-dimensional laminated graphite.
