iQOO Z5 launched in India with Snapdragon 778G, 120Hz IPS Display and 44W Charging

iQOO is back with a new premium mid-ranger in India. The brand which itself started as a sub-brand of Vivo, has now made its own name in the smartphone industry. The iQOO Z5 is the new premium midrange from the brand with a 120Hz Display, 44W fast charging, Snapdragon 778G, and more. Let’s have a closer look into iQOO Z5 along with its expected price in Nepal. 

iQOO Z5 – Overview 

Design & Display

On the front, iQOO Z5 features a 6.67 inch IPS LCD Display with a punch hole on the top. It is a full HD panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz with support for HDR10 and maximum brightness up to 650 nits. Talking about the design we have glass on both front and back that has a glossy plastic finish. The device is 8.5mm thin and weighs around 193gm. On the front, we get an interesting panda glass protection. 

Performance 

iQOO Z5 is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 778 SoC with Adreno 642L GPU. Along with this, we get 8/12GB RAM along with 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. We have seen this SoC perform really well on the devices like Samsung A52s 5G and Mi 11 Lite 5G NE, so we expect similar performance from the iQOO Z5. The is running Android 11 with Funtoch OS 12 on top for the international model while the china variant will run OriginOS for iQOO 1.0. 

Camera 

Talking about the camera’s we get a triple camera setup on the back of the iQOO Z5. Here we have a 64MP f/1.8 aperture with support for PDAF, complained by an 8MP f/2.2 aperture, and 120˚ field of view. While on the front we get 16 MP, f/2.5. The device can record 4K videos up to 60fps from the rear camera while the front camera maxes out at 1080p@30fps.

iQOO Z5 features a 5000mAH cell with support for 44W fast charging, which iQOO claims to charge up to 50% in just 26 minutes. The device has support for Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band along with Bluetooth 5.2 it has support for LE, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive.

iQOO Z5 – Price in Nepal and Availability 

The iQOO Z5 has been launched officially in India today at a starting price of INR 23,990 for the 8/128GB variant and maxes out at INR 26,990 for 12/256GB variant. If the iQOO Z5 is ever launched in Nepal, the expected price of iQOO Z5 in Nepal is 40,000 and the 12/256GB variant of iQOO Z5 is expected to be priced at Rs.45,000.
