Samsung A23 5G newer version launched in japan with different features

Samsung recently launched the Samsung Galaxy A23 5G before the Galaxy Unpacked event. Samsung has once again released the same model with a newer version for the Japanese market. The smartphone has a few changes including a smaller display IP68 rating and others. Let’s get into the highlights of the new version of the Samsung A23 5G launch.

The Japanese Samsung A23 5G has been launched with a smaller display a 5.8-inch display with HD+ resolution and a V-shaped notch. The smartphone is smaller compared to the international variant but this time the Japanese version has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The global variant unfortunately doesn’t have any IP ratings.

Moving on to the phone’s performance, the newer version comes equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot (up to 1TB). It runs on android 13 -based One UI 4.1 software. 

The international variant has differences in the camera as well. Unlike the four rear cameras and high-resolution front camera, the new version comes with one rear 50 MP camera. The camera comes with an F1.8 aperture and Full HD video recording at 30fps. For the front camera, there’s a 5 mp selfie camera set with full HD recording. 

Finally, the smartphone is fueled with a 4,000mAh battery and supports up to 15W fast charging.

Price and availability:

The smartphone is available in the Japanese market currently. The official price for the Japanese Samsung A23 5G is JPY 32,800. The expected price of the new variant is somewhat Rs 30,306 in Nepal.
