Apple unveiled MacBook Pro M2 previously at the WWDC event on June 6. Well, guess what? It is finally arriving in Nepal tomorrow. Daraz has officially declared on its website saying, “MacBook M2 Chip Model launching on 4th august”.

Design and Display:
MacBook Pro M2 features a 13.3-inch LED-backlit display that uses IPS LCD technology. It offers a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels with 227 pixels for inch density. Furthermore, the display has 500 nits of peak brightness which is more than enough for any laptop. It has a dimension of 0.61 x 11.97 x 8.39 inches.
The laptop has just 1.56cm thickness and weighs just 1.4Kg. You will get a headphone port, and two USB 4 Type-C ports.
Performance and Memory:
MacBook Pro M2 is powered by Apple’s M2 chipset on a 5nm architecture like the previous-gen M1 chipset. It comes with 8 core CPU which gets an 18% better improvement. Also, the GPU cores can be configured up to 10 cores which Apple claims to have 2.5x better GPU performance than its predecessor.
Likewise, its 16-core Neural Engine is 40% faster than the M1 processor and now can perform 15.8 trillion operations per second. Directly, you can connect up to a 6K monitor to this new MacBook. Also, it can encode and decode the 4K and 8K Pro Res videos. The base variant has 8GB RAM and 256GB of SSD. You can configure the RAM up to 24GB and storage up to 2TB.
Other features:
The laptop features Backlit Magic Keyboard with Touch Bar on the top side. Furthermore, it has a Touch ID at the top right corner of the Keyboard. The 720P webcam gives an advanced image signal processor with computational video.
MacBook Pro 13 M2 comes with a 58.2 watt-hour lithium-polymer battery that supports 67W charging via a Type-C port. When it’s on a full charge, you can get up to 20 hours of video playback on Apple TV. Furthermore, it supports WiFi-6 and Bluetooth 5.0.

MacBook Pro M2 price in Nepal and availability
As it will be launching in Nepal tomorrow, August 4 on the Daraz platform. You can easily purchase from the Daraz official site afterward. But Evostore has already listed MacBook Pro M2 on their website as coming soon. As per Evostore, Macbook Pro 13 M2 will cost NPR 219,000 for 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage option.
