Mi 11 Ultra Overview
Design and Display
Mi 11 Ultra features a similar AMOLED panel as we saw in the Xiaomi Mi 11 with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR 10+ support. But Mi 11 Ultra has a brighter display with a peak brightness of up to 1700, which will be very clear even in the brightest sunlight. The phone comes in a 1440p resolution 6.81 inches display with a 91.4% screen-to-body ratio protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra comes in a totally different design to that of the Xiaomi Mi 11 we saw a couple of months back. The phone comes in a different camera setup on the rear with a secondary display. The secondary display comes with 126 x 294-pixel resolution with an Always-on mode to show notifications, battery level, and a viewfinder for taking selfies with the rear camera.
Performance
Like the Xiaomi Mi 11 and the Mi 11 Pro, the Mi 11 Ultra comes powered by Snapdragon 888 SoC. The chipset comes with an octa-core processor with a Kyro 680 core clocked at 2.84 GHz, three Kyro 680 cores clocked at 2.42GHz, and other four Kyro 680 cores clocked at 1.80 GHz. At the same time, the graphics of the phone is taken care of by the Adreno 660. And to complement the flagship chipset, the phone has 8/12GB RAM with 256/512GB UFS 3.1 storage. With all the devices out there with the same chipset, you probably already know how the chipset screams performance.
Camera
Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra comes with a triple camera setup with a 50MP f/2.0 wide lens as a primary camera featuring Dual Pixel PDAF and OIS. The other two cameras are a 48MP f.4.1 periscope telephoto lens with PDAF, OIS, 5x optical zoom, and another 48MP f/2.2 ultrawide lens. And the best part about the camera module is that you get a secondary display in the rear that works as a viewfinder for the rear camera.
Furthermore, you get a 20MP f/2.2 wide lens for your selfies. The rear camera can shoot videos up to 8K@24fps, 4K@30/60fps, and 1080p@30/60fps with gyro-EIS and HDR10+ recording. Simultaneously, the front camera can only shoot videos up to 1080p@30/50fps and 720p@120fps.
