Xiaomi Nepal is currently the most active brand in Nepal. They have already launched four flagship smartphones in Nepal in less than a month. Today they launched Mi 11X Pro, the most affordable Smartphone with Snapdragon 888 flagship SoC in Nepal. Xiaomi also launched their premium flagship Mi 11 in Nepal a few weeks ago, which has some premium features over the Mi 11X Pro flagship but is priced 25K higher. Mi 11 vs Mi 11X Pro – Overview
Design and Display
Both devices might look similar at a glance, but Mi 11 is much more premium than the 11X Pro. With a curve display at the front with WQHD+ resolution and 1Billion colors, you will feel the premium-ness on the Mi 11. You get Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front of 11X Pro, while on the Mi 11, you get the latest Gorilla Glas Victus (7).
The display on the Mi 11 can go up to 1500 nits, while on the 11X Pro, you can go up to 1300. Nevertheless, both of the devices that support HDR 10+ are excellent 120Hz AMOLED panels from Samsung. You get a stereo speaker setup on both devices while the headphone jack is missing. Also, the speakers on the Mi 11 are tuned by Harman Kardon.
Camera & Software
Mi 11 and Mi 11X Pro have a triple camera setup at the back. Though they both have 108MP Primary Sensors, the Mi 11 has a larger 1/1.33″ sensor size than 1/1.52’’ on the Mi 11X Pro. You also get OIS on the Mi11, which is missing on the 11X Pro. Talking about the auxiliary cameras, Mi 11 has a 13MP shooter with a larger 123° field of view while the X Pro has an 8MP shooter with a 119° field of view. While the last one is a 5MP tele-macro on both of them. Mi 11 has a 20MP shooter with f/2.2 aperture and f/2.5 on the Mi 11X Pro. Both of the device packs similar video and camera features.
As they are Xiaomi devices, both devices run on MIUI 12 on top of Android 11. But as Mi 11 is a global variant and Mi 11X Pro is an Indian variant, you might see some differences in the feature list.
Performance and Battery
This is where we see most of the similarities between these two devices. We get Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC on both devices with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and Adreno 660 GPU. It is an octa-core CPU with 1×2.84 GHz Kryo 680 & 3×2.42 GHz Kryo 680 & 4×1.80 GHz Kryo 680 cores. This is currently the best chip you can get on the market for an Android smartphone, so performance won’t be an issue if you pick any of these devices. As both of these devices are 5G capable, talking about 5G bands, you get 12 different 5G bands on the Mi 11 as it is a Global variant; you only get 2 of them on the Mi 11X.
Talking about the battery, Mi 11 is powered by a 4600 mAh cell with 55W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging, and you get a 55W charger in the box. While the Mi 11X Pro has a 4520 mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging, and the charger is provided in the box, and wireless charging is missing with this one.
