Xiaomi Nepal recently launched two of its new devices, Mi 10 5G and Mi Note 10 lite in the Nepali Market. As soon as Xiaomi Nepal unveiled the prices for both devices, we saw a lot of comments on Facebook regarding both devices being launched at an expensive price here in Nepal.

Mi 10 5G is launched for a price tag of 89,999 NPR and Mi Note 10 lite for 44,999. These devices were already launched globally before coming to Nepali Market. Mi 10 5G also received a backlash in India because of its price tag. People started to compare it with devices from other OEMs.

If you are overwhelmed with the China Pricing make sure that it is before adding Taxes and Import duties while bringing it to Nepal. While comparing with the Indian Pricing it stands neck to neck. Here we are not defending Xiaomi for launching a 90,000 NPR device in Nepal. Recently Xiaomi Nepal hiked the price on some of their models because of the strong USD exchange rate. While talking about India, GST hikes in Import duties for mobile phones has forced the OEMs to increase their prices. While companies who assemble their devices inside India are saving a few bucks and are providing devices at lower rates.
