Micromax IN Note 1 and Micromax IN 1B Goes Official

Micromax Informatics is one of the largest domestic companies in India to make handsets for entry-level segments. IN is a new series from the company where the company has promised to provide enhanced performing smartphones at a very low price as demanded by their customers. Customers also have expected something different from the company while it is said to be a revolutionary comeback of the company with IN series. The first smartphones to launch under IN series are Micromax IN Note 1 and Micromax IN 1B, and here are the key specs of smartphones. 

Micromax IN Note 1:

Micromax IN Note 1 comes with 6.67 inches punch-hole display that supports ultra-bright FHD+ resolution. The device has a fingerprint reader on the rear side. It is powered by Mediatek’s Helio G85 gaming chipset clocked at 2.0Ghz. It uses Hyper Engine gaming technology for ultimate gaming and experience. It comes in two configurations: 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage and 4GB RAM + 128GB internal storage. It runs on the stock version of Android 10 OS.

Also, the company promises pure android OS with no bloatware and ads and guaranteed updates for 2 years which means the phone is likely to get android 11 and 12 updates. 

It has a quad AI camera setup on the rear side which is a 48MP primary camera accompanied by 5MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP macro shooter, and 2MP depth sensor. The front camera is also as attractive as the rear side which comes with a 16MP lens. The device is backed by a huge capacitive battery of 5000mAh that supports reverse charging and 18W fast charging. 

Price and Availability: 

It comes in color variants like White and Green. The green color has an X-shaped pattern on the rear side. It is priced INR 10,999 (~NPR 17,616) for 4+64GB and INR 12,499 (~NPR 20,020) for 4+128GB which is much cheaper as compared to the smartphones with similar specs. It is available for pre-order on Flipkart and micromaxinfo.com and will go on sale from 24th November 2020. 

Micromax IN 1B:

Micromax IN 1B comes with a big battery, big screen, big memory but at a small price. It comes with a 6.52 inches mini drop display that supports HD+ resolution. With this large screen, you can use it better whether for gaming or for online classes. The device has a fingerprint reader on the rear side. It is powered by Mediatek’s Helio G35 gaming chipset for a similar user experience as Note 1.

It uses Hyper Engine gaming technology for ultimate gaming and experience. It comes in two configurations: 2GB RAM + 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage. It also runs on the stock Android 10 OS. Similarly, the company promises pure android OS with no bloatware and ads and guaranteed updates for 2 years. 

It has a dual AI camera setup on the rear side which is a 13MP primary camera coupled with a 2MP depth sensor. The front camera housed inside the waterdrop notch which comes with an 8MP lens. The device is backed by a huge capacitive battery of 5000mAh that supports reverse charging and 10W fast charging. It is the first smartphone among the smartphones in this price range( as advertised) to bring a Type-C charger in the box.
