After the Nokia G20, yet another entry-level device from Nokia is here in Nepal. The Nokia C30 packs an Unisoc SoC with a Go edition of Android 11. The device was launched back in July and is now available in Nepal. Let’s have a brief look into the specs and features of the Nokia C30 along with its official price in Nepal.
Nokia C30 OverviewÂ
Design and Display
Just like any other Nokia device, we get a drop notch at the front with a plastic body and fingerprint at the back. The device is quite heavy and thick at 9.9mm and weighs 237 grams. The display with a drop notch doesn’t look very modern. At the front, we get a 6.82-inch IPS LCD HD+ display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The display is quite big and with an HD+ resolution, pixel peaking won’t be that difficult on this one.Â
PerformanceÂ
Here, Nokia went with an Unisoc SoC, it an Unisoc SC9863A. It is a 28nm Otac-core SoC with 4×1.6 GHz Cortex-A55 & 4×1.2 GHz Cortex-A55 cores. The device might perform well for daily tasks but we can’t expect more than that on this one. The device is available on 2/3GB RAM options along with 32/64GB internal storage. Whereas in Nepal the 2GB variant with 32GB is only available. Though we get the option for expanding the storage via the micro-SD card.Â

CameraÂ
Nokia C30 features a 13MP primary camera along with a 2MP depth sensor for portraits. While at the front you are treated with a 5MP sensor. The device can record upto 1080P videos at 30fps from its rear setup. You will be getting really average results from this camera considering the price of the device. So, we don’t have many expectations from the Nokia C30.
Other specs
Nokia C30 packs a large 6000mAh battery, which is the USP of the device and the main reason for its bulky and thick factor. Along with that, the device is running on Android 11 (Go Edition) so the SoC might handle this trimmed-down version of Android with few hiccups. Also, the device is promised to get Android updates for upto 2 years. While for the charging we get a 10W charger support via the micro-USB port at the bottom. Â
