One Plus usually used to take some time to launch their devices in Nepal once they were announced globally, but this time, they launched the One Plus Nord CE in Nepal within 2 weeks of its Global announcement. The device packs some interesting features and is priced aggressively than their flagships. Today, let’s compare OnePlus Nord CE with Poco F3 and its Pros and Cons as there is not much of a price difference between these two devices.

Design & Display

Looking at the design, Poco F3 looks and feels more premium than the Nord CE due to its new camera design and Gorilla Glass 5 protection on both front and back, compared to the plastic back on the Nord CE. Both the devices pack a 4500mAh battery, but the Nord CE is lighter at 170gm, while POCO F3 is 196gm. Also, the OnePlus Nord has a headphone jack, which is missing on the POCO.

Poco F3 packs a 120Hz AMOLED panel with 1300 nits of maximum brightness, while on the Nord CE, we are capped at 6.43 inches of AMOLED display at 90Hz. You get Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the POCO F3, while there’s no such protection on the Nord. So, if you want a better display with an excellent content consumption experience, then Poco F3 would be a better choice between the two, as it also has a stereo speaker setup.

Camera & Software

Talking about the cameras, you get a Triple camera setup on the OnePlus with a 64MP f/1.8 shooter and an 8MP f/2.3 Ultrawide with 119˚ field of view. At last, we get a 2MP depth sensor. While at the front, we get a 16MP shooter with an f/2.5 aperture. The camera setup looks decent, and I won’t expect much from the Nord CE on the camera department. Whereas, POCO F3 is also packing a mediocre camera setup with 48MP f/1.8 Primary, 8MP f/2.2 Ultrawide (119˚ field of view), and a 5MP macro shooter and at the front, you get 20 MP, f/2.5 shooter.

Poco F3 runs on MIUI 12.0.5 on top of Android 11, while OnePlus Nord CE runs on Oxygen OS 11.0.2 on top of Android 11.

Performance & Battery

This is where the gaps between these two devices widen more. On the OnePlus Nord CE, we get a mid-range Snapdragon 750G SoC with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and Adreno 619 GPU. On the other hand, POCO F3 packs a much more powerful flagship Snapdragon 870 SoC with Adreno 650 GPU, and also it packs 6GB/8GB LPDDR5 RAM. So, it’s quite clear, if you want top-level flagship performance, then definitely go with the POCO F3.

For the battery, we get almost a similar setup here. OnePlus Nord CE packs a 4500mAh battery with 30W WarpT charging, and POCO F3 packs a 4520mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging; and the charger is provided in the box of both of the devices.

5G Support

Though both the devices support 5G, Nord CE supports only one 5G band while POCO F3 supports 11 different 5G bands, so if you are looking for a 5G smartphone, then getting POCO F3 makes much more sense.
