After the launch of the Nothing Phone (1), its successor the Nothing Phone (2) is soon expected to be launched. Recently the CEO and co-founder Carl Pei of Nothing revealed another important feature, he reveals that the smartphone is coming with a snapdragon chipset. Let’s get into the details.
Nothing Phone (2) features Snapdragon 8 series chipset
In the recent Mobile world congress (MWC) 2023 tech event, CEO Carl Pei revealed that the smartphone will have the Snapdragon 8 series. This hints to us that the Smartphone will either come with Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
Before The Nothing Phone (1) came with the Snapdragon 778G chipset. This means the new smartphone will probably have an upgraded performance than the predecessor.
Nothing Phone (2) specs:
A recent leak suggested that the smartphone has the model number A065. The smartphone is coming equipped with an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate similar to its predecessor. The device will at least have 12GB RAM supporting virtual RAM technology as well. As for internal storage, The smartphone will come with 256GB internal storage.
The Nothing Phone (2) will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery compared to the 4,500mAh on the Nothing Phone (1).
