OnePlus has been one of the most popular smartphone brands impressing the audience with high-quality phones at a reasonable price over the past few years. Both the normal as well as T series has gained much popularity in the global market. After creating the buzz in the international market, OnePlus 8 is finally ready to rock the Nepali market now.Â
Specs Overview
Taking a look at the OnePlus 8, we see a smooth 6.55 inches Fluid AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with FHD+ resolutions (1080 x 2400 pixels), 90Hz refresh rate, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The HDR10+ display of OnePlus 8 offers us a refresh rate of 90Hz. The screen as well as the back of the device is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 whereas the device is built on an aluminum frame.Â
Like previous models from the company, the OnePlus 8 has some pretty amazing cameras. The triple rear camera setup consists of a 48 MP, f/1.8 primary sensor (wide), a secondary lens of 16 MP, f/2.2, 116Ëš (ultrawide), and a macro lens of 2 MP, f/2.4. The PDAF and OIS in the primary lens enable us to focus faster and stabilizes our image. The rear camera is able to shoot videos of 4K@30/60fps and 1080p@30/60/240fps with Auto- HDR feature. Along with this, we see a single lens of 16MP, f/2.0 (wide) at the front taking care of our selfies.Â
OnePlus 8 is powered by Snapdragon 865, Octa-core (1×2.84 GHz Kryo 585 & 3×2.42 GHz Kryo 585 & 4×1.8 GHz Kryo 585) and the graphics will be handled by Adreno 650. Talking about the storage, OnePlus 8 actually has two variants but the variant launching in Nepal has 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.0 2-Lane internal storage. It is a well-known fact that the OnePlus phones don’t come with the option for the expansion of storage. Well, this is not any exception.
Backing the device, we get a 4300 mAh Non-removable Li-Po battery with 30W fast charging that is advertised to charge up to 50% in just 22 minutes. Various tests performed on the device also have suggested the battery life to have the endurance rating of 108h which is pretty awesome. The device runs on OxygenOS 10.0 on the top of Android 10.Â
