Oppo Find N- Overview
Design and Display
Oppo Find N uses a custom 12 layer Serene display of 0.3mm Flexion Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG), which can withstand over 200,000 folds while having little to no crease, as per the claims. Furthermore, it stands out from other foldable and flip phones with its ‘Seiko Pseudo-Vertical hinge’ that is unique compared to other foldable phones. Also, because of the hinge, the crease is minimized up to 80% as the device folds into a teardrop shape. Also, there is no gap between the two halves when it’s folded; so, no more fear of scratching the inner screen.
While unfolded, Oppo Find N has a beautiful 7.1 inches Foldable AMOLED display with a resolution of 1792 x 1920 pixels. The display is made up of UTG glass with a reliable durability test. The display has 800 nits of peak brightness and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
Likewise, Oppo Find N folds into 5.49 inches of 60Hz AMOLED display with FHD resolution. The outer display is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus, so your device may withstand a few drops without any damages. Oppo claims that you can use the Oppo Find N with one hand while it’s folded with its compact size, unlike other foldable smartphones.
Performance
Under the hood, Oppo Find N is powered by Snapdragon 888 chipset that undoubtedly will provide the best performance. The device is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.2 internal storage. The Oppo Find N runs on ColorOS 12 based on Android 11. There are some additional gestures integrated into the Find N besides the usual multitasking gestures of Android. The gestures include two fingers swiping down to split up the screen, a four-finger pinch to enable a floating window, and many others.
Camera and Battery
Moving on to the camera, Oppo Find N has a total of 5 cameras on it- a set of the triple camera at the rear and two selfie cameras- one on each display. The triple camera setup comprises a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor, a 16MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 13MP telephoto sensor. You can click a selfie from the smartphone no matter if it’s folded or unfolded using the 32MP selfie camera. The selfie camera is housed inside a punch-hole cutout in both folded and unfolded screens.
Moving on to the battery, the Oppo Find N packs in a 4500mAh battery with fast charging support of 33W; fast wireless charging of 15W; and 10W reverse charging support.
