Oppo has recently announced its first-ever foldable device named Oppo Find N. With the launch of this device, Oppo will be entering the foldable phone market. Now the company has entered the new market. It was competing against Samsung smartphones but now it’ll be competing against Samsung’s foldable smartphones like the Galaxy Z Flip 3 as well. The new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is the device that is the best foldable device of today’s date. So, here in this article, we will be comparing the specs and features of Oppo Find N vs Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3.

Oppo Find N vs Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3: 

Design and display:

Design-wise, both devices come with premium looks and feel. Firstly, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 offers a sweet and clean design with a standard camera module at the back. When folded, the Z Fold 3 is thicker but feels quite compact. The same goes for the Oppo Find N as well. Here, the Z Fold 3 has been focused more on premium and protection experience with IPX8 waterproof rating, Oppo went for an improved hand feel approach. In addition, the Phantom Black color variant that Samsung provides looks much more premium.

Talking about the display, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is featured with 7.6 inches Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Whereas, the Oppo Find N features a 7.1 inches Foldable LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Oppo and Samsung fold phones come with differences in the resolution of 1792 x 1920 pixels and 1768 x 2208 pixels. 

The external display on Oppo Find N comes with a 5.49 inches AMOLED display with a resolution of 988 x 1972 pixels. Likewise, in Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, the cover display comes with 6.2 inches Foldable Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 832 x 2268 pixels.

Overall, the Samsung Z Fold 3 is larger in size, and surely, we can see that Z Fold 3 has a better display and maybe a better design.

Performance:

Here, both the device as featured with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor that is built under 5nm architecture. On the performance part, both devices may give the same results. The graphics of both devices is handled by Adreno 660. On the storage part, the Oppo Find N starts from the 8GB+256GB model, while the Galaxy counterpart starts from a higher 12GB+256GB configuration.However, both models top at 12GB RAM + 512GB internal storage. Talking about the software, both device features Android 11 but the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is based on One UI 3.1 and Oppo Find N is based on ColorOS 12.

Camera:

Here, both devices are featured with a triple camera setup whereas the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 comes with a 12 MP, f/1.8 aperture main camera that supports OIS as well. Likewise, the Oppo Find N is featured with a 50 MP, f/1.8 aperture main camera that also supports OIS. On the secondary side, Oppo features a 13 MP, f/2.4 aperture telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. Whereas, the Z Fold 3 supports a 12 MP, f/2.4 aperture telephoto lens that supports OIS and comes with 2x optical zoom. Lastly, there is a 16 MP, f/2.2 aperture ultrawide camera with a 123˚ angle view on the Oppo Find N, and on the Fold 3, there is a 12 MP, f/2.2 aperture ultrawide lens with an angle view of 123˚.

At the front, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 features a 4 MP, f/1.8 aperture under-display selfie camera. Whereas, the Oppo Find N is featured with 32 MP, f/2.4 aperture. On the cover side, there is a 10 MP, f/2.2 aperture selfie camera on Fold 3 and 32 MP, f/2.4 aperture selfie camera on Oppo Find N.

Battery and other features:

Talking about the Battery, Oppo Find N is featured with a 4500mAh battery with fast charging support of 33W, whereas, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is featured with a 4400mAh battery with fast chagrin support of 25W.

Here, you get a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on both devices. In addition, both foldable phones come with loud stereo speakers.

Price comparison:

Here the Foldable Find N comes with a surprising price segment. Compared to Z Fold 3, the Find N costs around Rs 147,700 when converted, which is similar to the iPhone 13 series and Samsung S21 series. Also, it is a lot cheaper than the Z Fold 3 that costs Rs 219,999.
