Oppo has recently announced its first-ever foldable device named Oppo Find N. With the launch of this device, Oppo will be entering the foldable phone market. Design and display:
Design-wise, both devices come with premium looks and feel. Firstly, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 offers a sweet and clean design with a standard camera module at the back. When folded, the Z Fold 3 is thicker but feels quite compact. The same goes for the Oppo Find N as well. Here, the Z Fold 3 has been focused more on premium and protection experience with IPX8 waterproof rating, Oppo went for an improved hand feel approach. In addition, the Phantom Black color variant that Samsung provides looks much more premium.
Talking about the display, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is featured with 7.6 inches Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Whereas, the Oppo Find N features a 7.1 inches Foldable LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Oppo and Samsung fold phones come with differences in the resolution of 1792 x 1920 pixels and 1768 x 2208 pixels.Â
The external display on Oppo Find N comes with a 5.49 inches AMOLED display with a resolution of 988 x 1972 pixels. Likewise, in Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, the cover display comes with 6.2 inches Foldable Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 832 x 2268 pixels.

Here, both the device as featured with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor that is built under 5nm architecture. On the performance part, both devices may give the same results. The graphics of both devices is handled by Adreno 660. On the storage part, the Oppo Find N starts from the 8GB+256GB model, while the Galaxy counterpart starts from a higher 12GB+256GB configuration.However, both models top at 12GB RAM + 512GB internal storage. Talking about the software, both device features Android 11 but the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is based on One UI 3.1 and Oppo Find N is based on ColorOS 12.
