Oppo is getting to the tablet game too. The tablet market has seen a recent boom after the pandemic. Brands like Xiaomi and Realme have already launched their tablet and are expecting a good response from the consumers. To get their market share, Oppo has launched Oppo Pad Air. It’s a budget tablet with a 2K display and features Snapdragon 680 SoC. Today, in this we will be having a closer look at the Oppo Pad Air and also the expected price of Oppo Pad Air in Nepal if it gets launched in Nepal.Â
Oppo Pad Air OverviewÂ
Design & DisplayÂ
Just like any other budget tablet, the Oppo Pad Air features a large display with rounded corners and flat edges. Upfront we are treated with 10.36 inches 2K display with a resolution of 1200 x 2000 pixels. It’s a 10Bit IPS panel with support for 1 Billion colors. The display gets a maximum brightness of 360 nits. While at the back we get a dual-tone finish like the original Oppo Pad and has a textured finish on top. The tablet is not so heavy at 440gm and has 6.9mm of thickness.

Oppo Pad Air features the infamous Snapdragon 680 SoC. This is an octa-core budget chipset with 4×2.4 GHz Kryo 265 Gold & 4×1.9 GHz Kryo 265 Silver CPU cores along with Adreno 610. We have recently seen this SoC powering devices like Redmi 10, Oppo F21 Pro, and Vivo 21T. The tablet is equipped with 4GB RAM and 64GB of UFS 2.2 storage. We also have variants with 128GB storage and 6GB RAM.
The tablet will be running on the latest Android 12 with Oppo’s customization on top for the larger display.
Camera
The camera’s on the tablet are generally overlooked. Here on the Oppo Pad Air, we get a single 8MP shooter at the back with an f/2.0 aperture and at the front, we get a 5MP f/2.2 lens. The device can record 1080P videos at 30fps from both of its camera setups. The device does lack a flash module, but this camera setup might be enough for your regular document scanning and photos under good lighting conditions.
