Oppo announced its new series of devices that is Oppo Reno 7 series. The series consists of three different devices and among those three devices, two of them: Oppo Reno 7 and Oppo Reno 7 Pro are available in India for pre-orders. Design and display:
Oppo Reno 7 Pro is featured with 6.55 inches AMOLED with a 90Hz refresh rate panel. Basically, the display of the pro model is the same as its base model, Oppo Reno 7. It would have been better if the company provides a better refresh rate panel on the Reno 7 Pro model. The device also features a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Likewise, the screen features a peak brightness of 920 nits.
Talking about the design, the Oppo Reno 7 Pro features a triple camera setup in a rectangular-shaped design. At the front, there is a single selfie camera in a punch-hole design. The device comes with a thickness of 7.5 mm and weighs about 180g.
There is Gorilla Glass 5 at the front and panda glass at the back panel.
Performance:
Talking about the performance, Oppo Reno 7 Pro is featured with MediaTek Dimensity 1200 Max processor that was specially designed by MediaTek in collaboration with Oppo for this Oppo Reno 7 series. The chipset was specially designed for the experience of enhanced display and better imaging and video clarity. The processor features an octa-core processor. Whereas, the graphics of the device is handled by ARM G77 MC9. Likewise, the device features Android 11 software with ColorOS 12 skin on top. You can get this device in two storage variants: 256/8GB RAM and 256/12GB RAM.
Camera:
Moving on to the camera, the device features a triple camera setup where the main camera is a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor and an f/1.8 lens. Supporting the main camera, there is an 8 MP, f/2.2 aperture ultrawide camera with an angle view of 119Ëš. Completing the setup, there is a 2 MP, f/2.4 aperture macro camera. With the 50MP main camera featured in this flagship device, you can get impressive pictures with sharp and smooth details. Although there is a lack of OIS support, you can still get stable video recordings and photos as well. The main camera can record videos up to 4K@30fps and 1080p@30/60/120fps.
At the front, there is a 32MP Sony IMX709 camera sensor in the front that can record videos up to 1080p@30fps.
Other features:
Oppo Reno 7 Pro comes with a battery of 4500 mAh with fast charging support of 65W. We can compare it with the Oppo Reno7 and there is no upgrade in batteries at all. With the 65W fast charger, you can charge your device within a half hour or so. There is an under-display fingerprint scanner with other sensors like accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, color spectrum.
