Poco C3 With 4GB RAM & 13MP Triple Camera Launched In Nepal

After all the teasing and sneak peek, POCO has finally launched two of its new devices in the Nepali market. The first one is the POCO C3 and the second one is the POCO M2. We already did a dedicated article for the POCO M2. Now, here let’s have a look at what the POCO C3 has to offer, as it is one of the cheapest phones in Nepal to provide 4GB RAM & 64GB of internal storage.

Design and Display

POCO C3 features an all-plastic body with a 6.43-inch HD+ display at the front along with a drop notch at the top. At the back, we get a textured dual-tone finish. Similarly, we can see a triple camera setup in a square hump with a POCO branding just below that. The device looks compact and weighs around 194g. It has a similar design to the earlier launched Redmi C3, except it lacks the fingerprint scanner.

Optics

In the POCO C3, we get a triple camera setup at the back with 13MP f/2.2, 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. Looking at the front we have a 5MP f/2.2 shooter. We have seen the same setup in the Redmi 9C, and it does a decent job while taking images in good lighting conditions. Talking about the video recording capability it can go up to 1080P @ 30fps.

Performance & Battery

The POCO C3 comes with the most popular chipset at this price point. Yes, it’s the Media-Tek Helio G35. It is a budget-oriented gaming-centric SoC. It is an Octa-core CPU with 4×2.3 GHz Cortex-A53 & 4×1.8 GHz Cortex-A53 and  PowerVR GE8320 GPU. This is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. While all of this is handled by a 5000mAh large battery and 10W charging via the Micro USB port. Which is kind of a bummer.

The devices come with MIUI 12 on top of Android 10. Helio G35, used inside is handling the smooth animations of MIUI perfectly. This custom UI gives tons of features to the POCO C3, like a scrolling screenshot, screen recorder, Theme engine, and much more.
