Comparing with Samsung, which has 5.7 inches of HD+ PLS TFT display with a similar notch. Both of the devices are completely made out of plastic, here Poco went with a dual-tone texture back.
While Samsung has a plain matt back with the speaker grill at the bottom left corner at the back of the device. If you want a compact and light device then Galaxy M01 is the one you should go for. But, if you are someone who wants a larger display then the Poco C3 is definitely for you.
Performance & Software
While talking about the performance, we see some differences here. As Samsung went with the Snapdragon 439 along with Adreno 505 GPU and in the Poco, we get MediaTek Helio G35 SoC with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. Both are octa-core SoC, but Helio G35 begin the newer one with higher clock speeds, we could see a clear advantage here. Poco C3 has yet another advantage, as it comes with 4GB of RAM compared to the only 3GB on Samsung. This extra RAM will definitely come in handy for multitasking.
Here, Samsung Galaxy M01 comes with Android 10 with One UI 2.0 on top whereas Poco C3 runs on MIUI 12 skin on top of Android 10.
Optics
For the camera’s we have a triple camera setup on the Poco C3 with 13MP f/2.2 primary shooter, 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor, and 2MP f/2.4 macro lens. Whereas the front has a 5MP f/2.2 shooter. Compare to Samsung M01, which has a dual-camera setup at the back with a 13MP f/2.2 main camera along with a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor.
On the front Samsung went with a 5MP f/2.2 single shooter. Both the camera setup will do a decent job considering their price. These devices, generally suffer a lot in the low lighting condition. Whereas for the videos, both can shoot up to 1080P @ 30fps.
Battery
All this is powered by a 5000mAh battery on Poco C3, which makes it a tad bit heavy at 196g. Whereas Samsung Galaxy M01 has a 4000mAh battery, which is the main reason for the device being light at just 168g. Both can take 10W charging via the micro USB port.
