Poco has unveiled the Poco C40. This is the phone from the company to feature a JLQ chipset. In this article, we will be looking at the specifications, features, availability, and expected price of the Poco C40 in Nepal.
Poco C40 Overview
Design and Display
Upfront, Poco C40 has a 6.71-inch display with a 60Hz refresh rate. The panel has an HD+ resolution and features a notch at the top. It comes with gorilla glass 3 protection and features Reading mode and Color temperature adjustment.
The phone has a big squarish compartment at the top left corner of the back panel like the Poco M3. It includes rear cameras, LED flash, a fingerprint scanner, and POCO branding. Likewise, it will be available in three color options: Black, Green, and Yellow.
Camera
Talking about the optics, you are treated with a dual-camera setup. The has a 13MP sensor as its primary camera. The secondary lens is a 2MP depth camera. Similarly, it is featured with a 5MP selfie camera inside the notch. Talking about the video recording, it can record up to 1080p@30fps from both the rear and front cameras.
Performance and Memory
Poco C40 is powered by the JLQ JR510 chipset. It is the first time Poco is using this chipset in their smartphone as the company was launching its all smartphone powered by chipsets from Qualcomm or MediaTek. Talking about this particular chipset, it comes with an octa-core CPU that clocks up to 2Ghz frequency and is based on 12nm architecture.
The device comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It gets a dedicated MicroSD card slot for storage expansion. On the software side, it boots on Android 11 with MIUI 13 on top.

Other Features
The phone features a gigantic 6000mAh battery that charges at 18W. However, Xiaomi has only provided a 10W adapter inside the box. Moving to the connectivity, it will feature 4G LTE,Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4/5Ghz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type-C 2.0 port.

Poco C40 Price in Nepal and Availability
Poco C40 will launch globally on June 16. However, the device is already available in Vietnam at VND 3,490,000Â for the sole 4/64GB model. We expect the Poco C40 price to be something around NPR 18,999 in Nepal when it launches.
