The company’s official teaser reveals the upcoming POCO C55 to be launching soon on 21st February. According to previous leaks, the smartphone is likely to be a rebranded version of the Redmi 12C and comes with a new rear design.

As per the teaser, the smartphone is launching with a dual camera setup, and a flash, along with a fingerprint sensor. The back panel features a POCO logo.
The rest of the internal specs are leaked to be similar to the Redmi 12C. The POCO C55 will come with a 6.71-inch display (LCD) with a resolution of 1650 x 720 pixels (HD+) and 500 nits brightness. Redmi 12C had four color options but let’s see what the POCO C55 launch brings.
Similarly, the rebranded phone will pair with the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC and LPDDR4x RAM also eMMC 5.1 storage. Along with a 50 Mp rear camera, it will also have a 5,000 mAh battery with 10 W charging. At the front comes a 5-megapixel camera.
The Redmi 12C will launch in the international market as per tipster Kacper Skrzypek. It will be sold with and without NFC. Whereas the POCO C55 might not have any NFC.
