Poco F3 launched in Nepal with Snapdragon 870 CPU & 120Hz AMOLED

Poco didn’t fail to impress us this time, too; we recently saw the POCO X3 Pro launch at an aggressive price range. And now, Poco F3 has finally launched in the Nepali market as well. It’s not that easy to carry on the legacy of the Poco F1, but this time it seems Poco F3 might be a perfect successor with its Snapdragon 870 and a killer price. Let’s see what the phone has to offer, its features, and the Poco F3 price in Nepal.  

Poco F3- Features and Specification Overview

All new 3.2Ghz Snapdragon 870 5G

Poco F3 is powered by the recently launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G SoC. This one packs an octa-core CPU with a tri-cluster core structure. The first one is powerful 3.2Ghz, three 2.42Ghz performance cores and the last four being 1.80Ghz efficient cores. Along with this, we are getting Adreno 650 GPU. 6/8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128/256GB fast UFS 3.1 storage. Also, we should not forget that this device supports 5G with 11 different bands. 

All this horsepower results in an overall score of 640,758 on the Antutu benchmark. Though the synthetic benchmarks don’t always depict real-life performance, this one seems a powerhouse, considering the price it is launched at.  

120Hz E4 AMOLED, 7.8mm Thin & 4520mAh Battery

At the back, POCO F3 resembles the recently launched Mi 11, and that’s not bad by any means. With its triple camera housing and minimal branding, Poco F3 gives out a premium vibe. While at the front, this device packs some serious flagship specs. It has a 6.7-inch FHD+ E4 AMOLED display. It’s a 120Hz panel with a 360Hz touch sample, 360° light sensors, a True tone display, MEMC tech for a smooth 120Hz experience, HDR10+ support, and 1300+ nits of maximum brightness protected and protected by Gorilla Glass 5. 

This power is driven by a 4520mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging and can fill up from 0 to 100% in just 52 minutes. Don’t worry; the 33W fast charger is provided in the box. Despite being jam-packed with the latest and greatest specs, POCO F3 is 7.8 mm thin and weighs around 196gm.

48MP Triple Camera Setup 

POCO F3 features a triple camera setup at the back with a 48MP f/1.79 Sony IMX 582 sensor, an 8MP f/2.2 Ultra-wide with 119° field of view, and a 5MP f/2.4 Tele-macro camera with AF range between 3-7 cm. While at the front, we get a 20MP f/2.45 shooter inside a 2.78mm thin punch-hole cutout. 

Though the camera specs are not groundbreaking, the power ISP of the Snapdragon 870 will squeeze every bit of juice from those sensors. So we can expect good camera performance in this price segment. 

Software & Additional Features 

Apart from all these highlighting terms, POCO F3 features some other exciting features too. Some of them include WiFi-6, stereo speaker setup, Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio, X-Axis linear motor,  LiquidCool Technology 1.0 Plus, 100% DCI-P3, NFC, and an IR-Blaster. Some of the camera’s features brought by the Poco F3 are Night mode 2.0, One-Click Video modes, 3D sound recording, and audio Zoom during video recording. 

POCO F3 – Pricing in Nepal and Availability

The base variant of Poco F3 6GB + 128GB has been priced at Rs.46,999, while the higher 8GB+256GB variant price in Nepal is Rs.51,999. POCO F3 has launched in Nepal with no fixed date about the availability, but the Poco F3 will be available very soon at Mi authorized retailer outlets all over Nepal.
